With these words Henry David Thoreau left the civil life and went to the woods, where he lived in a cabin, all by himself, for 2 years. This experience allowed him to connect with his higher self in a beautiful transformative way and further develop his spirituality.
Nature is the most sublime expression of God and it's where we should go to find solace and peace.
