The topic being addressed here is Reagan and the right. Perhaps if the question had been proposed as to his views of the left and millennial liberals you would hear an equal amount of criticism. In fact I know you would, because I've seen and read plenty of other interviews with Rollins where he held nothing back in pointing out the flaws on both sides. I think maybe your assumption that Rollins only kowtows to the left is what's actually 'simple-minded' here.

Brewzerr There is plenty more simple minded takes in this video offered by Henry than what I pointed out. For instance, Henry stating that the middle class is “soon to be lower class and soon to be fucked” is another ignorant trope of the Left. The fact is that the middle class is decreasing because so many members of lower middle class families are being educated and ascending the financial strata in which they were born, moving to higher social classes.

Democrats are bad. Republicans are horrible. Get rid of the Republicans. Then get rid of the Democrats. The point is, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. For a while anyway.

Reagan was the 2nd worst president of the 20th century, second only to Kennedy who bought us to the brink of nuclear war. At least he was smart enough to listen to his brother. Reagan DESTROYED the middle class. 1% of the people have 99% of the wealth. That was him. He did that. There's no going back after that. It's been a steep slide into shit since then.

Spouting anti conservative diatribe is a major part of his shtick, I should know, I've been hearing it for over two decades. He seems just as invested in identity politics as the next 'woke' social commentator. Funny how he mentions the Vietnam war. I'm not even American, but last time I checked, the bloodiest years were under LBJ, not Nixon. And curiously, Kennedy never seems to implemented at all. For that matter, I've never heard him speak ill of any democrat. Coincidence? Mmm.. Rollins is a good man, but his politics is basically that of a libertarian socialist, or at least thats the image he likes to project.

In pro athletics when people are listed as naturals they often fall behind, in math and academics the same happens. IM yet to meet anyone who says they are the best, be the hardest worker.We have an awesome country, but as soon as we give away our ability to look at our failings and faults, we are just wasting time and waiting to either fail or fall behind. We could have better schools and education and better politicians, but we are too busy saying how great we are to enact the necessary changes. I work hard and if I need to fix a problem to improve I will do so. Not because I am the best but because I know I am not.
