Ruggs was kinda injured most the season so he didn't have as much agility and couldn't build much chemistry with Carr, but it seemed like Gruden didn't know how to draw up plays for him.
Agreed.... play calling was ass, so was much of the design. Some the jet motion stuff was ridiculous. When you don’t run a lot of motion, misdirection, or creative RPO for the motion man.... it’s clear as day what where they’re going with the ball. Jon’s gotta get more creative, and less predictable on 1st and 2nd down, and short yardage.
@@VLOClTY I think the big thing for Ruggs is he's not a pure outside receiver, last season Edwards went down to injury and Agholor emerged out of nowhere so in between being banged up himself Ruggs turned into just the deep threat that the Raiders needed to get the middle of the field open for guys like Agholor, Waller and Renfrow. this season should be much different, Edwards is the guy you want to throw the jump balls and contested catches to, Ruggs needs to get the ball in open space and when he blows the top off the defense, then he can be the type of Tyreek Hill player only he doesn't beat his wife and kids ...
@@tclife3518 Exactly....Right now , She should be remembered and family supported . Give attention to what was lost and in time , celebrate her when the family is ready. As we grow as humans, we must take lesson from such events and as difficult it may be , find ways to prevent them. We would have learned nothing if we dont recognize Ruggs family is also a victim. His family is devastated and will alter their lives too. By no means am I comparing or should anyone compare the loss between families. One life loss is hard enough, to lock him up for good would be the wrong thing to do. Ruggs is going to serve time.... what he does during this time and plan to do when getting out is going to make the difference. He should be sentenced to be educated on all fields of study concerning the terrible event. He should speak in her name ,TINA TINTOR, and try to prevent this from happening again. The NFL , Im sure has counselors and advisors for young draftees. There would be no better person to speak to rookies in the future.

All these bad comments about RUGGS are the ones that listen to other people , these are the people’s that fail to want see he was hurt and even hurt carr still under threw or over threw ruggs the ball , but when he bust out this season watch all these haters hop on the ruggs wagon and praise him .
@@Whocares282 yes that goes without saying. my heart is with her family during this time. but i strongly disagree with people being glad about ruggs and saying it should’ve been him. not saying at all what he did is ok and i’m definitely not making an attempt to protect him. but you never wanna wish anything bad on anyone no matter what they do.
@@jag4198 one bad decision has alot of big consequences some times. I feel bad for ruggs as well since I’m sure he wasn’t looking for anything like that to happen. But fortunately for his family he is still alive. Sucks for the other family. Its a lose from any angle.

The Ruggs TD catch at 3:23 ended the career of Mr. Bountygate Gregg Williams. Williams was the defensive coordinator for the Jets and was despised by the coaching staff. He called for an all-out blitz that allowed Ruggs to make this catch. Williams was immediately fired after this game

I'm a Auburn fan but this Henry rugged III is from my hometown and he is good I hope that they get him a chance to play in the NFL again I hope they please don't run his career I think he would do everything he could to help out that family that he destroyed
Sometimes these young athletes don't appreciate the position they're in. Earning millions doing what you love and retiring while still young. Stay humble people, and be considerate of others. The winners in this situation are blood sucking lawyers.

Looks like they don't trust him to run some routes correctly and so they limit. He needs to throw himself into becoming an all around pro the next 2-3 years and he will be a superstar.
Makes a lot of sense actually when mayock comes out to the media and says that route running is ruggs is flaw and needs to get better. Sounds lile they tell him to watch hunter renfrow because he praises renfrow constantly in one of his micd up vids
He's so fast, he has trouble slowing down, so missing that start/stop agility. Not sure how much you can improve that, but he is a really hard worker so if anybody can develop that maybe he can.
