So the elephant in the room, Henry Ruggs. I went back and fourth deciding whether or not to include his clips in the video and ultimately decided to remove him. Any raider fans knows of the Ruggs situation and I felt as though to include his clips would lend more people to continue the conversation about him in the comments section. We have to understand that what happened to Henry as well as the victim involved is bigger than football. I know that if his highlights were included, every other comment would be something along the lines of "man if only we had Ruggs." I also understand that those comments are coming no matter what's but I feel like keeping his clips out of it keeps it slightly under wraps. A life was lost in this tragedy and I don't think it's right to think about / talk about what our super bowl chances would have been if he did not commit that horrible crime. This video and really this channel as a whole should really be an escape from the problems we face everyday, so I want the distraction of Ruggs to be kept to a minimum. However, if we do want to have a conversation about alcohol abuse, driving under the influence, or the victims involved and how we can help, that is always welcomed.
