I love how this story is Henry centric. Not James, but specifically Henry! The same Henry who canonically blocked the entire main line just because he wanted to keep his paint clean. Seems he quite enjoys things stay uniform! Also, your writing is always evolving and I love it! Keep at it, and can't wait to see what comes next!

The inspiration for this story was based on an anecdote from a driver of a Black Five, so I really couldn’t picture it being anyone BUT Henry! Thank you so much!

The writing around Henry shooting sparks from his funnel and the driver and fireman dialogue, was very “RWS” great work!

Henry: It's shameful. How can Edward - of ALL engines - be so, so…indifferent? Truck 1: He's not the only one. Henry: Those sidings are certainly affecting YOU lot. No wonder, with all those weeds tangling up in your wheels and tickling your frames... Van: And if that weren't enough, they gave us an engine painted up to LOOK like weeds! Truck 2: Donald and Douglas should cover HIM in ballast, then we’d be free from his moaning!
