Wellsworth & Suddery Engines - No.4 - "Doctor's Orders" 

This whole collection of stories was superb! I hope we get to see more of these charming characters.

I think Horace's problem was similar to the phrase: "your glass is half-full." That's what I thought at least.

What a thrilling resolution to your story! Horace was indeed a hero, and I'm so glad that his hard work paid off in a big way for him. It sounds like everyone on the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway was lucky to have such dedicated and capable engines. Thank you for sharing these tales of friendship, loyalty, and hard work - they were a lot of fun to read.

An interesting end to the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway engines. Horses character really does shift and at least all three are now great friends. However I am now curious to see if they'll be more stories on these characters especially with the Cliffhanger at the end. In the meantime it was wonderful to listen to these stories Mike keep up the good work!

These stories were really fun! It’d be cool to see RWS volumes of the Coffee Pot engines and the S&M engines.

This was amazing, Mike! I love your take on the W&S engines and their liveries! The Sodor & Mainland engines are green, the Tidmouth, Knapford & Elsebridge Light engines are red, and the Wellsworth and Suddery engines are blue! You are the most brilliant Thomas fan writer I've ever seen! I wish you luck in the future!

This is quite interesting. You clearly wrote the stories based around what Wilbert Awdry established in his lecture notes, and I can't deny you've written some good stuff here. But as part of the extended Thomas & Friends business concept I have been steadily working on, I myself have been referring to the fascinating history of the ex-London & South Western Beattie Well Tank engines (you can read that on the associated Wikipedia page) in developing the saga of the Wellsworth & Suddery engines. In short, my idea was that the three locomotives Awdry stated ran the railway only related to its early days - so you can therefore the stories you've written would have taken place then - and three of the LSWR Beattie Well Tanks, whom I have established as Joseph, Beattie and chaotic but cute Firefly - were obtained after Joseph under trial proved more suitable for the line's tight curves, running it single-handedly until around the time when Edward started working on the line when it was upgraded to take him. Firefly's saga is an interesting one I've developed because I based it around the idea that instead of the engine typically coming to Sodor by arrangement, Firefly indirectly influenced her fate. I think it’s possible earlier on all four of the W&S engines could’ve been running the Wellsworth Arlesburgh Kirk Ronan and Norramby branch lines since someone had to do be on those lines. Edward seemed to be more of a utility engine for all parts of the railway and it doesn’t say when he gained the Wellsworth line. It’s possible this fleet of engines may still be in service or maybe were eventually put into preservation.

I cense an overhaul for Horace
