This shit pisses me off beyond belief, I WANT TO BE A PHYSICAL THERAPIST. In the beginning I would define the term "solubility" as the concentration, wich is the number of gas particles per volume (e.g. in the unit mol per liter) in the liquid in a state of equilibrium (equal gas flow into and out of the liquid). This is a very simple notion everybody can understand.

Because solubility and pressure are directly proportional, thus if the pressure increases by a factor of 3, it increases the solubility by a factor of 3.

You can still get the right answer since the units will cancel when using the ratio P2/P1.
