'98 I was 8 when I saw it, and idc what anyone says.. nostalgia or w.e.. I still find a lot of it pretty damn funny. Everyone is a critic now though, and look for substance even when a movie is meant to be ridiculous. Same people will say the first Good Burger sucked, and I don't care to know you at all. 😅

That movie had some the best bits of ALL TIME to me as a kid, and still does. The disconnected phone/heel scene disturbed and flattened me in a way I’d yet to experience at that time. I was rolllllling off the couch

I don’t think he’s underrated, he’s literally one of the best of all time, right there with Jim Carey & Richard Prior, Eddie murphy, Robin Williams. You can see Adam is a stand up guy, he still till this very day pays tribute to one of the all time greats, his best friend Chris Farley

I think his early work is underrated as a result of being lumped in with his last 10-15yrs. The quality vs quantity is not in his favour. After his impeccable 90s run hes had a few gems, the longest yard, 50 first dates, click, uncut gems, hustle and a few others but he's released about 20 movies that were literally just him and his buddies goofing around with a terrible script. Don't get me wrong I respect the fact he can even do that by choice but it has still damaged his earlier body of work and has given an entire generation the impression that he is trash.

My father, brother, and I went to see Enemy of the State on a Friday night. It was sold out when we got there. Dad asked what movie we would like to see instead. Picked The Waterboy. It is one of the greatest memories of my father. The three of us laughed our asses off the entire time. My father passed 3 years later. My mother, sister, and my maternal grandmother traveled to see my paternal grandmother after she had lost her husband of 52 years and her youngest child within the same week. We went to see Mr. Deeds. We laughed our asses off the entire time. Thanks for the memories Mr. Sandler.

I met Henry at big auto show some years ago, and got to sit and talk with him for a bit, He is just one of THE nicest people you could meet. Completely down to earth, casual It was a highlight of my life, yet it was just "real", just like hanging out, talking with someone you've known a long time. I never even asked for his autograph or anything, we just hung out.

Henry Winkler is underrated IMO. In the late 70s perhaps early 80s did a couple movies way different than Fonzie character. One was called “ Heros” I think and the other called “ The One and Only. “ Night Shift “ with Michael Keaton also really good.
