I finally found a build that mirrors mine. I am putting a 1960 Rambler American wagon 2dr. on a S-10 frame. Both the Henry J and the Rambler wagon have 100" wheelbase. I am assuming that you already cut down the S-10 frame to match the Henry wheelbase. Are you dropping the body as far as it will go so the floor is just above the frame. That means lowering the body mounts below the top of the frame. I am hoping to have more of a slammed look eventually with dropped spindles in the front and lowered leaf springs in the rear. The engine placement on the Rambler requires a short water pump to clear the rad. I am looking forward to all your upcoming videos, keep em coming.
All these builds are great. I love watching them. HenryJ fits the frame (first gen. S10 Blazer, 2dr, 2WD.) perfect - no cutting needed! Floor is touching frame now as I’m making body mounts. The mounts will be winter project as the snow covers the HenryJ. Thank you for your encouragement!!
@@canadianwrench My bad. I thought the only difference between the Blazer frame and the S-10 truck frame was the Blazer frame sat higher. I was unaware that it was wider as well. The Rambler is a uni-body so I needed a narrower frame to fit within the built in frame rails. The S-10 truck frames start at 108" wheelbase, so that is why I thought you had it shortened to fit the Henry J wheelbase. Carry on.
