Very nice Cliff. Looks like she will do just fine full on RC. Nice little model! Do you have...or have you thought about getting some kind of super slow flyer you could fly in the garden RC? Our living room is pretty small, and I can fly my E flite Night Vapor in it...it high alphas real nice and goes super slow. My bet is you could build something that works just as well if you wanted to.
Well that flies around the pole very well, I don't think you'll have any problems flying it for real unless it needs to have ailerons!! But I bet it will fly ok with just rudder and elevator!! Looks good in the air, nice little plane 😄👍
Hi Tench, no nothing to do with control line. Back in the 70's electric round-the-pole models emerged. It was just throttle control with the power going down the line. Today's version is small radio control models with onboard battery power. You could fly with just throttle but why not use rudder and elevator as well? During lockdown I flew all of my smaller models in the back garden using this method but it's so much fun I'm still doing it. I'm uploading a video as a type of exactly how to do it, keep you eyes peeled, cheers. Hi Tench, the video is now up, it should explain what's what ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WkJgrwmVdOU.html
