Dunedin used to be famous for its student venues. But over the past decade, all of them have closed, leaving students with only flats to party in.
Megan Prentice’s best friend Sophia Crestani died in an overcrowded Dunedin house party in 2019.
She is still fighting to understand what led to her friend's death and how she can make sure it never happens again.
