Great reaction to our girl Faouzia. With the over sexualisation in the music industry today being so overwhelming, Faouzia is a breath of fresh air. Intelligent, sassy, funny, articulate, elegant, captivating and a phenomenally talented artist, lyricist and musician. She is an Engineer too! Great role model for the younger generation to emulate.

A piano and her voice ! Simple , powerful with no gimmicks ! Faouzia is an absolutely talented artist ! Her song writing ability is off the charts ! I agree that her vocal interaction with her meaningful lyrics are blended perfectly to give her audience a total emotional connection ! Her beautiful melodic runs and seamless register changes are unbelievable to witness ! By the way this concert at the Burton Cummings theater during the covid pandemic was one of the greatest concerts I have ever heard. Every song in this concert is an original and performed with Faouzia magnificent vocals and just the piano accompaniment. I hope you enjoy listening to the rest of the concert and I'm assuming you will and enjoy an absolutely wonderful experience. I want to thank you personally for your continued support of this magnificent artist and your breakdown was so well constructed and so intelligently given and it's much appreciated for sure. Keep posting my friend and sending much thanks and love from Canada 👍🇨🇦❤️

Great reaction, as always! She does indeed paint a grand picture with the ebbs and flows of her runs and riffs. You should check out her song Exothermic (piano version) next, one of my favs, just the fact that she couldn't help but be inspired by one of her engineering classes on the topic of exothermic reactions, is just fantastic!

Thank you for the recommendation! It sounds like she really brings her unique perspective into her music, especially with a song like "Exothermic," which ties in elements from her engineering studies. It's always fascinating when artists draw inspiration from their academic interests and life experiences. I’ll definitely check out that piano version! It must be beautiful to hear the emotional depth she can convey through that arrangement.

He actually pronounced it correctly though. There’s another video where she goes into a long story of how it’s actually pronounced FOOZIA, but she allows FOEZIA because that seems to be more natural to people in this part of the world. Both are acceptable the only one that’s not acceptable it is if you call it FOW to rhyme with cow.
@marywebster2488
@marywebster2488 Месяц назад
@@Rosannasfriend I only saw the one video where she is asked about 8 times how to pronounce her name and she replied, “FOH Zia,” so I guess she doesn’t care. If asked how to pronounce her name correctly, she should answer correctly. People in the West can learn to pronounce it correctly if that’s what she tells us.

Brilliant reaction to a beautiful song of a beautifully talented artist. Faouzia is unique. Did you observe that she sing while sitting. Can you analyse that? Thank you.
@TheWordSmith365
@TheWordSmith365 Месяц назад
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the reaction! Faouzia truly is a unique and incredibly talented artist, and her ability to convey emotion through her music is remarkable. Regarding her singing while sitting, this can actually add a distinctive element to a performance. When artists sing while seated, it often allows them to focus more on their vocal delivery and emotional expression rather than on movement or stage presence. This can create a more intimate atmosphere for the audience, drawing them directly into the performance. In Faouzia's case, sitting while performing also showcases her control and power as a vocalist. Her breath support and technique remain impressive, even in a seated position, which speaks to her skill as a singer. It allows listeners to concentrate on her voice and the intricate details of her melodic runs, giving her audience a deeper emotional connection to the song. Overall, her seated performance reinforces the song's beauty and authenticity, making it resonate even more with listeners. Thank you for prompting this analysis-it's always great to dig deeper into what makes an artist's performance so special! If you have more thoughts or questions, feel free to share!

How about going way back to Faouzia’s 2017 “My Heart’s Grave”? She was 17. She was not with a record label yet. She’d just won the Nashville Unsigned competition, both the Grand Prize and the Teen Prize. This included a 5 week Berklee program. The video is not her best. But the songwriting is recognizably Faouzia. I do wonder who helped with the musical direction. Not something she’s done since.
