make sure she takes meds throughout the night too! I had a big surgery and made the mistake of not waking up to take meds in the night! I woke up and spent an hour rolling around in pain… Good luck!

I had 18 surgies on my neck and back. I wait until I absolutely cannot handle the pain and the numbness in my feet. I look forward to getting up under for surgery because it's the only time I actually get good sleep in the last 10 year's since I was hit by a drunk driver and broke 6 in my neck and 15 in my back. Trying to stay awake after they give the meds is always fun because I'm focusing on that and not the bad things that could happen during the surgery.

I swear to jesus roan u listen, her chest neck and stomach is going to hurt not just from the suregery .from the tube going down her throat also, give her advil . to decrease swelling and graddually start excercing and use a heating pad on the areas when she takes the advil, use a warm hot cloth on the areas when taking a shower, i know wtf im talking about so dont be unsure of me. its going to hurt 247 unless u have her do this, bet the doctors didnt tell u this, but they might after if u ask, do these things as much as she can comfortably

Got breast augmentation last November and getting comfortable was the hardest specially at night like 4 am 1. Use a neck pillow like the plane travel ones 2. make sure to keep her butt over i memory foam pillow or something because she will numb completely at times 3. Try to keep a small pillow under your knees 4. Keep something under her heel even another memory foam pillow. I never even thought of having any pain there but it got me 4. Elevate her arms, her shoulders and back will def get tired of they hang. Good luck!!Hope that helps!! Hope you have a quick and painless recovery!!!

And don’t worry about the pain killers and muscle relaxers. I litterally did not take them the first 5 days and my doc asked how I was feeling and he told me to take them . Made a huge difference. Plus I don’t typically drink or do drugs which you seem like you don’t. So these comments of addiction are uncalled for . It’s all for comfort . 2 weeks of recovery gets tough
