I passed my driving test today, I thought I had failed in the first 10 seconds so my advice is no matter how awful you feel your driving test is going KEEP GOING!! I started lessons the same time as Taz, & was able to pass first time.

luckily for me i booked my driving test when i wasn't ready back in march and when the virus happened i practiced throughout the pandemic and pretty much now im waiting for the new date... good luck for anyone in the same situation as me

If an when she passes her test (no doubt she’ll pass) it would be interesting to see her doing a mock test and or lesson a couple of months into driving alone. It’d be funny to see some ‘bad driving habits’ like not looking over the shoulders before indicating and pulling away. I had a go at a mock theory test for a laugh and got 41/50 😡 even though on my theory test I got 50/50. It just goes to show much I’ve not had to really think about in the 1 year of driving since passing my test last June. GOOD LUCK TAZ 👍👍

I passed mine on march 2nd was easy if u put your mind into to it just relax and take your time theres no rush keep it up good luck 😉

The cross hand method of steering is the best in all situations, I recommend that if your going in drive thrus in future it makes turning so much easier.

Passed my test last year my second time, failed first by going too slow, but second test was 3 weeks later with same examiner and same test route and I passed. Personally didnt see any difference in my driving I felt I was doing everything the same but just kept checking my speed more. Dunno why but im suddenly binge watching your videos, find it so relaxing. Your gonna smash your test yaz! Very good driving & pin your am amazing instructor! Good luck!

Hi Guys, I passed my driving test 1hour ago with no minor. I would recommend this channel and the ultimate driving tutorial. I watched almost all Taz driving lessons from the beginning to the end and others who took Mock with pin .one extra tip i used was to talk myself through my driving. The test examiner was happy for to do this. If you are reading this review, Wishing you the best and goodluck.

You'll Pass just pretend the actual test is a mock test. Personally I think morning test is better less time to over think and get nervous. Goodluck hun you'll be fine! X

Don't worry about your test because of these small errors you was making in this lesson Taz, the pressure is on. The lesson before my test i made some serious faults as well as minors, but i passed my test with just 4 minors and found the test itself very calming. You will pass no problem 👌.

My instructor had taught me to put my car on reverse as my drive is on a decline. But reversing I had learn to reverse off myself. I still am learning to reverse. Lol. I have passed but still question my safety .

For everyone wondering what he means is that because their now waiting on a test date until then their gonna do no more tests and then when they get a test date they will do a couple more to just make sure everything is okay before the test date

I was suddenly issued a driving test here in Ireland and had it today. Sadly, i failed as i got one major. I only had 3 minors 😭 devastated but have booked in for another. Ive watched these videos because they helped remind me of where i need to be looking, progression etc. Heres hoping i get it next time! Thanks Pin and good luck Taz

I passed in February and bought a car in early March. I haven't driven much since and don't enjoy driving alone. Too much anxiety. I wasn't even that bad on my test.

Good luck Taz , I have watched all your lessons and all your uncle videos also. My test was cancelled on March and was rebooked on June and then was cancelled . Three days ago I received an email to rebook a new test and my theory will expire within 10 days but after I booked my test, DVSA sent me an email and cancelled my test. It is really disappointing, they make me happy for one day only, I booked 3 driving lessons but then cancelled them and booked a new theory test.😕

Another reference point when reversing into a carpark space is the lines of the space across from you, 99% of the time they line up, so if you cannot see the lines properly round your car especially if they are worn. Edit: also parking on hills we are told at Royal Mail turn the wheel towards the curb downhill and away facing up. If you have a reverse assist camera screen in your car, how much are you allowed to use of it in a test ?

When Taz does manoeuvres, like bay parking she often tries to find the bite before setting the gas, sometimes does not even set the gas. You might get away with this incorrect procedure carefully while manoeuvring on the flat but if it creeps into general driving you will have big problems. The reason behind why learners do this is that they worry the car might shoot off suddenly but the way to prevent premature movement is to dip the clutch back down about 5mm to get below bite, disconnecting the drive. If you bring in other external factors like upslopes, the need to start now, or feel you are at a place it would be disastrous to stall your incorrect procedure will increase the likelihood of stalling enormously because you also rush doing things and then you stall. So use the correct procedure that will work well universally and don't have two systems, for manoeuvring/general driving. Taz stalled in the middle of an uphill major junction controlled by traffic lights where she would have used the wrong feet positions/system and hurriedly tried to complete the turn as the lights were going red potentially leaving her marooned.

Passed my test this week with ZERO faults :)

How is Taz these days? I'm sat here at age 26 watching with both envy and awe at these videos (which seem to be not so recent) of young learner drivers who only took a few lessons, made quick progress and easily passed! I cannot relate! I have spent over £600 on lessons, changing my female instructors 5 times and right now my BSM driving instructor is still milking money out of my in debt, disabled, lone living, suffering self, keeping me in the industrial estate, still not let me on the main roads! I am not coping as a non driver and I need and deserve a care more than anyone. Please, somebody help me!
