It could be there using mics from the cameras instead of a mic thats separate which he can clip on to say his collar or something for better audio. Unless the mic hasnt got noise cancelling function or some feature like that as well could be why its muffled or distant at times. He could look into a wireless external mic or maybe external extender connected to the cam.

SkagSlag yes really not looking forward to the practical considering how nervous I was for theory hahaha. I’ve had 22 hours though and think I’ll be ready in the next few months

Maisie Jones Hopefully you’ll be fine :)) but I passed the theory first time too I was nervous as hell especially on that absolute gamble called hazard perception. I passed my practical second time, I firmly believe it really depends on the examiner you get and the luck of the day it’s such a bitter pill to swallow but it’s so true in my opinion, you can be the best driver in the world but if that examiner has had a bad morning maybe an argument with there other half they’ll find a reason to fail you.

SkagSlag I think I’ve accepted i won’t pass my practical first time because I get very nervous when it comes to stuff like that, but not a lot of people do tbh. Just happy to finally be done with the theory ‘revision’ and now I can fully concentrate on improving my driving

Maisie Jones yeah I really wish you well with it. Who cares if you don’t pass first time or the second time or third your learning it’s okay to fail. The only annoying bit is the months wait for the next available test ):

the law has been changed on 4th december 2017 but in june 2018, the rules allow learner to go on motorway for a driving lesson.

I asked my instructor about how in his vids ppl seem to stop at places and hold the break and raise the clutch then switch to gas to go and he said its not best to do that and instead if you have to stop for 3 seconds its best to put the hand break on and then get the bite point ready when you have to start going. Dunno whos right but thats what i am told.

@@SkeeterUK Correct, if you know you're going to wait a while, using handbrake is much more efficient. It's because you can prepare to get off without having to hold ur foot on the brake

Katie Howard yeah you don’t get a sheet anymore, you’ll have used an email address to book your driving test & then when you pass the examiner checks it’s the correct one and they’ll email you a list of any faults you made with some other info on it, mine came like an hour after I passed x

I had my test on Thursday and the examiner had an ipad instead of a sheet of paper to mark faults on. I passed and had an email sent to me confirming this when I got home from my test which was about 10 minutes away :)

Eat a banana before your test

If it helps, speak what your doing or observing as ur doing the test as my instructor said they love it when the person taking the test speaks about whats around him and what your doing and what you see like signs, is there ppl at crossings, is the lights going to change etc, like i see a round about coming up i better slow down or the traffic lights are changing or theres a hazard coming up. I might do this myself i dunno yet depends how nervous i will be as i was nervous one lesson after a bad time on a lesson cos i had a foggy head which came on sudden half way through it, though the next lesson i did the verbal everything i was doing or observing and did great on that lesson even tho was shaking most of it. Up to u. Oh and maybe eat some fish for brain food, im gona get a nice fish from the chippy so im good to go for a lesson tomorrow. lol

Also dont forget the blind spots especially when reversing after parking on the right side of the road manoeuvre and do it more than once. Also check those when in car parks when doing any manoeuvres there also. And check the middle mirror on each new road and when changing speed or changing lanes.

it is said three point turn is not tested in the driving test any more, isn't it?

You got me worried now as ive not learned 3 point turns and i have a test early feb. I think i better quiz my instructor on this as i thought as he said that its not on the test now. Also not learned reversing around a corner of a road as thats not on the test apparently.

@@rhiannondeveraux2378 the official manoeuvres are bay parking, reverse bay parking, parking up on the right hand side of the road and parallel parking where I am. I'm unsure why you did a 3 point turn and reversing around a corner?

@@SkeeterUK as far as I'm aware 3 point turns are not on the test. The 4 official manoeuvres are bay parking, reverse bay parking, parking up on the right hand side of the road and parallel parking. If you're learning those you are all good!!

@@redrose2905 oh that must be annoying now.Having to redo your theory test again because of lockdown.Don’t worry though, theory isn’t even that hard so you’ll deffo pass it again then hopefully pass your practical.

The Succ I’m guessin it’s best to get as close to test ready as possible rather than being 90% ready and fail ...personally I’d rather do more lessons than more tests 💪 there’s being ready then there’s being ready !

Bottom left tho its very dark and the window is a bit small to see. Hopefully he can make future vids with the foot cam a bit larger on the window size in the corner and maybe tweak the brightness so we can see the pedals more.
