Amy had lots of issues. I used to live in Camden, and she was always in a particular pub. When she walked in, the place would light up. I had some of my best nights out when she was there. When the news broke that she had passed, a strange hush descended on Camden. It hasn't been the same there ever since.

I was on a train coming back to London from Guildford when she died,there were flowers left on every station platform in between. I didn't know what had happened until at one station someone had left a big framed photo.

Yes makes a lot of sence my son passed away at the age of 29 I had been clean from drugs for 30 years 4 days after he passed away …. My first thought was I can go do a bump and forget all this and disappear from the world ….. I had to fight that feeling for a hot minute for sure … this past New Years Eve it will be now 33 years clean …

Everybody knew Amy was a "party girl" and liked to enjoy a few drinks (maybe bit more) but she was young, full of energy and famous so nobody saw it as a problem but unfortunately Amy couldn't handle the fame and paparazzi so the party drinking turned to something more serious☹️...R.I.P AMY ...ANOTHER LEGEND GONE TOO SOON ✝️

Crazy song and that is why I love this song. I have a problem with alcohol so I don't drink. I hate myself and smoke pot until I forget who I am and why I hate me. But 2 weeks ago after posting in FB that " was mad and was gonna kill myself", I wound up at the VA hospital in the psych ward. Nope I got it. I am not going to kill myself. I used to work in a mortuary and then a morgue for the Medical Examiners office. I have always thought suicidal since 16. But ya know, I have now watched sun go down for 2 weeks. It was a good day. I absolutely love my wife with all my heart. And will not leave her here alone. Nope. Today it is cloudy and rainy. It is beautiful. We have had like 10 days in a row at or over 100 degrees. Today is a wonderful day the Lord has made. Good vibes. Not a Christian so I don't know why that verse popped out of my mouth but I used to go to church. Maybe I should go back. Love your show. Later bro.

I saw Amy live once, she was so drunk could hardly stand up and people were making fun of her I just wanted to leave, she died shortly afterwards. I prefer to think she found peace. Do listen to Amy singing "Body and soul" with Tony Bennett even if only for yourself, it took forever to record because she could not focus but Tony bless him gave her the time and calm she needed and it is a magical version of the song.

Amy had heart irregularities. Due to alcohol and bulimia.. Doctor told her if she keeps drinking, her heart will eventually stop. Not long after that diagnosis, she’s died from alcohol poisoning (her heart stopped). She didn’t want to die, she was sober for months before we lost her .. it just happened…

Sorry to hear about you guys! Sad but stay friends and support each other. I know Amy's Dad, Mitch but haven't seen him for years, Amy was little but talented even then. It's very sad she passed early. She did have support but chose her own path. She should have had a really long career and got even better with maturity.

Yes she was going through this. Her father announced she would not be doing singing engaments because of her breathing. . She drank and did crack. It was not long after this song she died... folks please get help. Now if your take a street drugs one pill could kill you.. don't chance it.

*I never really got into Amy Winehouse. I don't know why and don't really have a reason.. I just didn't get all the hype I guess. But I have watched a few documentaries about her life since she passed away and gained a whole new perspective and respect for her.*

Hi just want to tell you in 2005 my daughter came home from a trip to see her grandparents I came home from what they called Rehab meaning my injury to my hand and I had a nerve block I say this because that was the song and my daughter freaked out cuz it looked like I had a stroke because they blocked the nerves you are listening to the fact that she died of drugs she didn't she was cleaning sober for 3 years and everything we have learned in the last 57 years is don't trust the media don't trust what they say when an artist does not want to sell their souls they are often put down and drummed out, with her voice her Talent they had to kill her off, just saying

True Story: My Mum was like Amy Winehouse with Madea's strength & popping off. My Mum wanted "Rehab" to be her funeral song- but it was "too real" for all the gossip folks at the funeral. So "If Today Was Your Last Day" by Nickelback became the "approved" choice. It thundered twice through the funeral home, & then hard rock began to shake the walls that they couldn't stop. LOL Serves 'em right. Yes my Mum died from complications of alcoholism- but she had a divine sense of humor & held up a mirror to what was wrong with society. Like my Mum, like so many others- are gossiped about & scapegoated while others freely gossiped or showed up to flex how "holy" they were. It was more traumatic to me seeing how ppl acted then her passing on. It's the reason why Dad & me are not fans of funerals for most ppl- because we've seen too many gossipers come out. Too many folks leaving to grab stuff or their lawyers while the real ones grieve. I always tell ppl never to gossip st funerals, if someone wants to say something or gawk- do it at home. Those truly suffering will always hear, & it can be worse than the passing of said person. My son recently felt sad my Mum wasn't around- but I had to explain to him she was much happier watching as an angel (he's a kid.) "A life ain't a life till you live it." Mac Miller. I hope regardless of how old someone is when they pass, or how old they were- that those who mourn find peace. Bitter mean folks live till their old age- bitter till their last breath. If anyone you love passes, & it helps you 2 help others. If it helps you 2 have bitter moments but not a bitter life- u & ur loved one still win the game. We pass that healing onto others, we don't hurt folks like we were- & that makes even tragic passings heal. Their life wasn't in vain. Much love.

Apparently she had a whole other album but it was never released because her parents also her dad took her out of rehab and made her continue singing and touring even though a lot of people kept saying she needs the help and she wanted the help at first until her dad got in her head and she trusted and believed him that she would be ok then she almost was but her ex husband had came back and that ruined her even more because he left her even more heartbroken thinking maybe If he married her after she died he'd get some kind of money after but no one got money because all the money went to all the bills she owed she was she a sweetheart and a phenomenal singer but the addiction was stronger

She was one of the people who you rooted for but she ran herself into the ground literally. If she had some humility and allowed herself to care and fight for herself the way others fought for her, when she was stronger enough to beat it, she might still be here. She basically died of a seizure going through alcohol withdrawal. She was on a bender 48 hours before she passed and was trying to kick it again. He body was RUN DOWN and weak. And because she had a prior drug addiction she felt she conquered 2 yrs before, she didn't want to take ANY drugs, including the pills for the seizures. If she would of let go of the pride and gotten the help and the seizure meds she would still be here.
