Welcome to yet another epic gameplay showcase! This time we're playing the The War Within beta with HERALD OF THE SUN Holy Paladin Hero Talent build. 🌊✨
Join us as we tame the power of light to become the Sun's Avatar and heal our allies or damage our foes with Dawnlights. We connect with beams to affected targets to further extend the Dawnlight effects during our Avenging Wrath cooldown. And all of that is complemented with a lot of new talents that give us more power and replace our Word of Glory with Eternal Flame. The gameplay feels amazing and it's definitely bringing back Holy Paladin back on the charts along with the other healers in World of Warcraft. HERALD OF THE SUN shapes out to be a very solid choice overall with viable performance in both Mythic+ dungeons and raid.

I think H-Paly would be fun as a hybrid dps/healing like B-Priest. Could provide dmg reductions buffs/dmg reduction debuffs and a better "Heal on attack" talent.

I don't know man, we've played hpal after the rework in 10.1.5, for example, and it felt so good to heal that putting a label as "hybrid" on it feels like a small budget version. I think with the latest rework and the hero talents it's getting back to glory though :)

The hpal mist of pandaria was like this you was doing damage to heal nearby allies and thats was awesome the only time where i did played healer

So did you actually use Light of Dawn during your testing? Or is it 100% Eternal Flame?

Oh, it was 100% Eternal Flame for sure :D I just pressed LoD a few times to see if it does something and it felt like hpal in retail right now - didn't move health bars at all!

Hello! Yes, it does and I'm yet to test a build with it - been stalling it a bit since I got a word that it's not that good but I used to love it back in the day so there's hope!
