Oh my, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana brass were huge in the 60s. Their music mostly instrumental was all over everywhere... TV, commercials, radio. you can say their music became more famous than they were. their song, Taste of Honey, became iconic in sixties. Probably their biggest song. But this song, you've got to hear Dionne Warwick's version, "This Girls In Love With You". You will forget this version here ever existed.

This to me is what all art is about. If there is any beauty that i can hear as a musician myself, then I really enjoy it. I remember this song being a hit when I was a kid and I might have not played much attention to it then but I've really grown to like it. I think even the version that was a hit had the electric piano intro I liked. I've learned to play it on guitar.

You guys should review the original studio version. The audio is much better and it is in stereo. Back in the day, there were no stereo tv's or cable, so there was no need to make music videos in stereo. For that, everybody listened to the radio, which was the only medium at that time to broadcast in stereo. Herb Alpert also had a #1 hit with an instrumental called Rise in which he plays the trumpet.

Way to take the leap guys, to something like this! It would be so easy for a couple of 20-somethings to just stay in the "safe" Avenged Sevenfold lane, and mad props for stretching the boundaries of your fab reactions!! You're red hot, my two fave new clear reactors! Herb Alpert is the "A" in A&M Records (Jerry Moss is the "M"---they founded the label in Hollywood in 1962)----with HQ located on the old Charlie Chaplin movie lot @ Sunset & LaBrea (or at least they used to be when last I visited it in the early '80s)! A&M were independents back in the day (although they were acquired by PolyGram Records in '89), and still ably grappled with heavies Columbia and Warner Bros. Records for '60s thru '90s dominance! A&M used to be home to the likes of the Captain & Tennille, Peter Frampton, The Police, Joe Cocker, Janet Jackson, Joan Baez, Supertramp, Gin Blossoms, and Minnie Moore....many, many more!! Herb Alpert, born and raised in east LA, is the only musician to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart as both a vocalist ("This Guy's in Love with You", 1968) and an instrumentalist ("Rise", 1979). A couple suggestions for songs to react to: "More Today Than Yesterday" by Spiral Starecase (got to #12 in US in 1969), and the Burt Bacharach/Elvis Costello collaboration, "Toledo" (sung by Elvis) from 1999. Thanks again, lads!

I wish some of these reaction videos would just be honest when they think some music sucks! I’m in my late 40’s and this sounds like elevator music from back in the 70’s! They don’t want to get any dislikes is the problem. This music would drive me insane after a while from complete boredom! 🤢🤮
