Liking retro series. I put frozen disks under the skin of chicken or turkey. Sorta self basting imo make less expensive turkey a little juicy. Peace.

The logs are nice. I've also made garlic butter using a couple sticks of butter. Then just put in a small container with a snap on lid. Then when I'm ready to make sour dough garlic bread, the butter is all ready.

I always forget about compound butter! Your correct in that they can make a meal! I need to remember to do this more often!
