Bravo! What a lovely tribute, with some very imaginative editing. As much as I love listening to the concerts he conducts, his discussions about the music are often my favourite part. I wish him all the best for his 90th birthday and cannot wait until his live transmission in the Digital Concert Hall in December.
I was lucky to have season tickets to San Francisco Symphony for almost 10 years when he conducted it in the 80s and 90s. He is now 95 and still conducting. Such amazing vitality. Bravo Maestro !
This is sooo entrancing and sweet! They would not have made up this wonderful hommage to him if they didn't love and appreciate him. It deeply moves my heart.
