I patched the Herbs and Stones PATHWAYS Matrix Mixer with itself and created an unstable, feedback-driven experimental noise maker synthesizer. Makes for some fun(ny) sample fodder. Reverb from the Zoom R16 recorder.

I've been jonesing for a matrix mixer but I was a bit nervous about the audio loss and crosstalk. This one sounds really clear (as far as feedback goes...) and wide-ranging, plus it seems to have a nice set of builtin utilities that complement playing. My only remaining quibble is the tiny knobs (oh and price...)

Have you used passive matrix mixers before? Because the audio volume loss and crosstalk is probably a lot stronger with those, compared to active mixers like the Pathways. Regarding the knobs, here is how the Pathways can also look: instagram.com/p/CfhtTqEJD0g/
