To be fair, OG Herc couldn't beat this fight before CCs, Mighty Chains and his Guts buff, none of which were a thing back when this story chapter came out.
And he did it with a spare guts as well. Getting a sane archer herc (not corrupted) would be AMAZING. Not bashing on Alcides bc the character is interesting, but a sane, full-divinity Heracles was so badass that I wish we could see more of him. I understand why Jason liked him so much.

I wish they'd buff Spartacus to this level too. He too was as unkillable as Hercs but more of a "Healing Damage" way. Would be an interesting mechanic. Although technically Fairy Knight Gawain functions exactly like that, which makes her really fun.
I played for almost 2 years before I got my first herc from the gacha, my berserker jeanne is bond 8 almost 9, and herc is at bond 5 np1. I ran out of story to grind bond on, other than some of the psuedo singularities. guess I could put him on my QP farm team for now. Looks like taira ended up as my solo servant before herc did.
@@Big_Biba Considering that the Grand Assassins are the following: - An 8" tall skeleton wielding a greatsword, a tower shield, and azure flames - A man who uses guns, yells while hitting AND getting hit, and is prone to using explosions... I'm pretty sure that an 8" tall man who wields an ax-sword can be a good assassin.
@@Big_Biba Herakles is a master of disguise who uses guile to defeat his enemies and who has multiple weapons that kill near-instantly, including the greatest acidic venom in history. He is an amazing Assassin.
So I've been wondering about this for a while, but I'm curious to see which solo setup do you think would work best for Herakles overall: 1) Double Bond CE Georgios (Invul and Damage Cut giving you a safer start overall) 2) Georgios/Leonidas with Battle of Camlann (Like in this video here, to get the NP out faster) 3) Merlin and Gong (Merlin superboosts Herakles while Gong gets rid of him to get the solo going) Considering Herakles has limited turns to live, I'm asking purely for gameplay efficiency and if you think any of these would make more of a difference than the other
Either the first or the third, two invuls are already pretty fucking baller but add two damage cuts to it and it becomes extremely broken considering you basically have two turns where Herc takes 0 damage allowing you to focus more on smashing the enemy and less on survivability, proposition three is also great but less focused on survivability and more on damage, which is great if your opponent doesn’t have a way to stall but if they do, your entire setup is basically worthless because they override it. Proposition two is the worst out of these three because Heracles’ NP isn’t really a necessity, more like a pointless add on, it really doesn’t do much besides lower the enemy’s defense, sometimes, your base Buster does more damage than the NP when you have Mind’s Eye’s crit buff.
