There needs to be a 10 minute loop of his reaction. - Herc throws bear into space - Snob silently in disbelief for 10 minutes - Snob finally snaps out of it
murrfeeling *GoodTimes Hercules:* My wife died to to her not being able to protect herself from these snakes! *GoodTimes Aladdin:* Maybe I could summon my genie to bring her back to life! Or maybe rewind time so you could try and lightly toss those snakes- *Bay-er:* Hey! I like randomly intruding on the scene when someone else is talking, that's why they call me Scene Interrupting Bay-er! *Cam-laddin:* A Bear! Quick Jerkules! Throw that bear into space! *Jerkules:* With honor, Cam my homie! Prepare to die, Fat Berri- (Gets mauled by the bear) ARRRRGHHH! My perfect chest! *Cam-laddin:* Aw... nuts... (summons genie) Hey genie, do something about this bear! *Genie* *Bennett:* With pleasure, Cam-laddin! (Uses magic on Bay-er) *Bay-er:* Huh? What's goin' on? (Smack!) (With in a flash, Bay-er is sent flying from the earth and into space) *Bay-er:* Aww, crud. That stupid genie threw me into space. Now I'm Space Bay-er! (Poofs into oblivion) (Back on earth) *Cam-laddin:* Phew! Thanks genie! Now can you heal my buddy Jerkules and his wife? *Genie:* Sorry, but you've exceeded you wish limit. I must cool down for the rest of the month. (Goes back into the lamp) *Cam-laddin:* Crap. If only Paige and her Aladdin were here... *Jerkules:* Oh... Pain... Oh Godly Agony!
Oh yeah, though it wasn’t Hercules in the original story- it was Zeus who just seized two random bears by the tails and hurled them into space to make the big and little dipper.
At last, the return of the review that introduced me to the single greatest moment in cinematic history: Hercules throwing a bear into space. Oh, I'm so happy.
"Skellitor the master of the universe!" Oh.My.God, I almost died! Did anyone else recognize that came from that 80's religious video that the Cinema Snob reviewed?
When I was a kid, around 2000, they used to run this movie ALOT on TV. My friend and I used to laugh even back then at the absurdity of sending the bear to space and forming Ursa Major.
Geoffrey Sorkin I thought the good one was only Disney's. I mean, this is so bad it's good, but Disney's Hercules is genuinely good, even if it barely follows the original legend.
It might be vintage Cannon Films (low budget, hammy acting, ludicrous plots) but it’s my favorite Hercules movie. Sure the new ones have a $150 million budget and a ton of VFX, but do they have a bear being thrown into f’n space? Didn’t think so.
With all the food talk in this episode, you made me hungry for lunch! Thanks for reuploading this classic, dude. Now you just need to reupload Fun in Balloon land and you'll have uploaded all my favorites along with Dirty Duck!
So, will you make an episode about "Sinbad of the Seven Seas" (also with Lou Ferrigno, Luigi Cozzi and Golan/Globus) ? I find it even more batshit crazy than the two Hercules.
Hey, Brad. You talked about Hitchcocks, Lifeboat in The Midnight Screenings of Afdrift and Action Point, so I checked it out, and found it fantastic. Thank you for the recommendation.
I ran into this movie on ScreenPix channel, right at the scene where Herc is on that beach and becomes 100ft tall. I was like WT FFFFFFFF??? THEN I found Snob’s review…. YESSSSS
Schwarzenegger's first role as Hercules in New York had his voice dubbed and Lou Ferrigno gets his voice dubbed here and both were body builders, coincidence?
"Not science in service of the gods, but science to eliminate the gods! Science... for the sake of science." Okay, why does this guy sound like the villain from every Christian film?
6:05- I guess that can also be a reference to Transformers: The Last Knight, since that movie also has Excalibur. 15:25- No, that's Bruce Willis's weakness in Unbreakable and Glass.

This video originally came out in 2014, so Snob predicted the plot to The Last Knight.
Just last night I watched a couple reuploads of classic Snob-episodes; Pink Flamingos and Cannibal Holocaust - was thinking I'd like to see this episode. Nice timing. You should up those to your own chan too.
It’s not too surprising that Ferrigno was dubbed over, even if it is an Italian production. Ferrigno had a speech impediment that he was self-conscious of.
Doublecross on Costa's Island would make a great review bodybuilders with movies that so bad it is amazingly great. Franko Columbu is also the guy who trained Sylvester Stallone first blood 2
5:50 Hey, it's the funny guy from Hell of the Living Dead! :D Frank Garfield (looks at the end credits)...I mean Garland. Oh, who am I kidding. It's Franco Garofalo!
Except Hercules wasn't such a smart dude- the smartypants Greeks (Athenians) preferred Theseus who, while not as strong as Hercules, was a brave warrior but was also intelligent.
This might be the only movie that gives you the "infant Hercules and the snakes" story from mythology. Which kind of balances against the "throwing a bear into outer space" story.
