I met DMX in Miami, FLA some years ago around 2am. I was walking home, stopped at the gas station and saw X. We spoke for a few about music and NY. When I was leaving X offered me a ride to my crib. I declined because I was on a mission. X was so cool. Great vibe. It was a pleasure to have met him. Blessings King. 💪🏿🤴🏾👑😇✊🏿🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

X was the voice of the streets, he made praying in the hood look cool because he was not ashamed to speak the word. When he died, the world paused. I'm not going to lie but it really hurt me when I heard that X passed, I'm still hurt. My favorite rapper is gone but not forgotten, NY has officially given him his own day on his birthday, December 18th. So I will be celebrating my birthday December 17th and his.

That brother was a walking gospel of struggle. Those young ones that never heard of a church or bible, out here slinging, OGs the rest, cried as hard as any when he prayed at his shows. Dmx's energy you're speaking about is because he was in The Bible and it was his life source. I know because I use that same source I'm using it today and see the constant positive changes it's done to me and billions others. He was operating under the Law of God. Struggling with his fleshly desires, but trying to remain in the faith of God's obedience. Forever Earl Simmons will be loved and remembered and I can't wait to meet my brother in Christ when the Lord calls me Home. Jesus is King of Kings and Earl knew this. Its easy to believe DMX got all the love he got. You ever see the videos with X? The ones where he probably don't know there is even someone recording? Those ones. I never met him, but I can tell he was humble, down to earth, and genuine. He probably handed out a lot of the money he made to regular people on the street, but more then that I heard him talk to people on some of the videos where he gave me hope.
