Did just that today! Including new rear end links and track bar. It's like a completely different truck. And I haven't even started with the front end yet!😱
Lmao at the ending. I installed Bilstein B6’s on my car. The ride was definitely very stiff right after install. The ride has broken in nicely. Still a little stiffer than the old Bilstein b4 twin tubes, but much more controlled and less body movement.
I was going to say the same. This guy doesnt know that monotube shocks are much better than twin tube. Have to watch out for ignorance on the internet. Just wait until the twintubes aerate and foam. 😂
Last time I fitted Bilsteins to a sports sedan, I couldn't tell the difference until I dialed up the speed. They were impressive. More control and less body movement but no ride quality reduction.
I would like to know .. I have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe LTZ . if I put Bill Stein shocks on the rear. What should I do with my rear air compressor (because it had air shocks in the back)
I was going to get these for my 2011 Chevrolet Colorado. But some guys who use these 4600s on the same truck have told me they're a little bit hard. So I'm going with the Monroe Reflex shocks. What do you think?
What's funny is all of our parts are made from Chinese crap we get and not only that it's like a 500-600% markup and the company barely pays a living wage
I have a white 2014 Tacoma with Fox 2.0 shocks in rhe back and these same bilstean shocks in the front. It confuses me so much why the guy didn't just lift the truck with 2.0's in the front as well. Does anyone have an idea why people do that?
Should have left the monotube shocks on it. Theyll last longer than those cheap twin tubes you just installed. And theyre safer, especially if you cart your family around.
for your information the Chinese nice looking are always thicker and look more reliable but disastrous and unsafe and have a very rigid hard ride and prone to accidents is a high probability, the manufacturer recommended is always the best, the expensive not always better, it might be the sport so it is hard on bumps with uncomfort ride.
@toyotabrony still some body roll, although that may be due to the wore out torsion bars bushings. It made it a ton better with how the vehicle tracks and moves over potholes and other road features.
@toyotabrony pretty much. I bought the vehicle as a fix up, so I don't know what stock feels like; bumps and holes and such are much smoother and less jarring
@@sategllib2191 That’s always the way but not from the engineers. The pencil pushers say “Drop $3 off the cost of each unit” Then a shortcut has to be taken
Honestly, I’ve run the 4600’s on some pretty hardcore off-road adventures and they did fantastic. I finally wore a set out, but with the lifetime warranty I can get them rebuilt and sent back to me, so no harm done there
I can't stand it when the title of a video is BS. EVERYONWE that sees this video needs to change their shocks RIGHT NOW? BS with a capital B and a capital S!!!
@@toyotabrony Shorts has a lot of basic functionality missing such as volume control, closed captions, and such. It's literally the law in the united states to require these accessibility features.
@@saultube44 if I have a stock height or lowered vehicle, I would. But I have a lifted xB. So I’d rather slap on bilstein b6 shocks and struts, with northwoods performance tune springs, and ad front strut brace and rear sway bars by either TRD or DC sport.
@@toyotabrony Struts, are twin tube, just make sure there are gas. The other 2 are extra cushioning and vibration absorbed; Google them. There are some shocks that are adjustable, you might way to ask for those. Also there's a 2-3 letter brand, that has a K in the name, really good, ask for it
