Just bought the SEL with premium package. Was able to get it for invoice. The limited had more bells and whistles that we didn’t need and just inflated the price too much. So far, we LOVE it. As far as wind noise....don’t notice it in my particular vehicle. This SUV was an upgrade from a 09 base model Camry we had. We researched just about every SUV this size and it’s by far the most room and best value.

Went to look at a 2021 Limited and was given a out the door price with a 9500 mark up from sticker. Total rip offs. Stay away from the West Side Hyundai dealer in Albuquerque.

Hey fellas great review I test drove this vehicle in Ottawa and my only beef is the push button tranny.BUt top trim is loaded with features that would cost much more on an GLS or an X3 segment, that said I am also considering purchasing a 2020 Highlander hybrid, what would you do in my case?

The electronic shifter scares the hell out of me. What is your experience with this technology? If it wasn't for the shifter I will probably consider purchasing the SEL model

There are few thingsI don't like in the palisade in terms of design like the push button transmission instead of the lever, and the poor or ugly steering wheel design.

random nitpicking question about the palisade...did you have any need to spray the windshield washers? I have a pet peeve with my grand Cherokee; unless I’m stopped or driving under 30mph, the windshield washer fluid gets wipes away and runs across the drivers window. Makes it a streaky mess! Even worse when there’s road salt involved...

No issues with the palisade. Sounds like somethings clogged or you need to check your wipers.

How bad is the driver side wind noise above 65 mph? Lots of people complaining about it.

I just bought one with that knowledge. To me its noticeable if you are listening for it , if that makes sense. I've already put 150 miles on it and I only really hear it if my radio is off. The dealership said its an easy fix when I brought it up.

It's better. It's not a GM! The Palisade & Telluride would compete with the Cadillac XT6 which is 10k more. Basically for less!

I like what you said about everything, Except the Auto Start! It’s a pain in the rear. Not only to me but Everyone I’ve ever talked to about it. Plus on my wife’s Audi A4. After 63k miles. The auto start destroyed the starter Motor! Bad Bad Bad. $500. To replace. That Sucks! So if I were you the next video you should address that. Because as far as myself and countless other car owners. The start stop doesn’t save enough money in gas savings. As it was suppose to. As the price to replace a new Starter Moror!

Dave M there should be a button with a steering wheel symbol you can press to disable it.

I’ve been watching videos and reading 📖 a lot about hearing really bad wind 💨 noise in this vehicle driving over 60 mph on the driver side ❌🙅🏾‍♂️❌

I have a a Palisade Limited, and you are correct about the wind noise on the driver’s side window. But there is a fix for that, and after having mine fixed by my Hyundai dealer, it is a joy to drive and my wife loves it too. The dealer was great, and took care of that problem and continues to provide great service for my Palisade. You won’t be disappointed, it’s a great car.

@@ernestmartinez8995 same here just got mine . Heard it during the test drive and the salesman admitted a few were brought in for the noise but its an easy fix
