I have a '14 Apollo 250RX it has a Honda clone motor (Ole tech 4-stroke..not a bad thing think XR lineup of 80s/90s) its held up very well. The rear shock is garbage but easy to swap w/Bronco shock for good price. Run premium unleaded & semi-synthetic 10w40 oil it will run a long time! Carb swap recommended too. Thats it! $2200 delivered to your door. -Ohio

This is better than most bike reviews on you tube-the upsides / downside are all covered. There's no point in saying it's doesn't compare to a KTM, CRF etc, it's built for trail riding, not for much else really. What would you expect when they cost one fifth of the price?

They all bog like that from the start to pass emissions easily. It's not that the carbs are crap(although their not the greatest), you just have put in the correct jetting and then your gtg.

Do not take the air out of the tires let them wear out themselves you can take a little out of the back if you want wheelie right away it helps

It's probably bumpy because it's brand new tires and you got them all the way filled up

Great for beginners. The biggest difference between to big 4 (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Susuki) is the Apollo 250 is about 15 HP, the big 4 250's are about 30 HP.

Im thinking about getting this one but the street legal version. I want something that is street legal, but also good offroad. Im 6'6 and 200 lbs. Would this be a good match?

If you have never rode dirt I would recommend this bike. First you don't know whether you will like dirt riding and less than 2 grand is a lot better than 10 grand sitting in your garage. Second you will crash and damaging a 2 grand bike is better that damaging a 10 grand bike. I rode lots of dirt in my life and at 68 I own an Apollo. It's a good bike, maybe not as quick as some of the bikes I've been on, but it has enough power to get you into trouble. So if your thinking about riding on dirt, I would recommend them to start out with. And one more thing. If you are afraid of a scrapped elbow or knee, don't ride dirt. It's embarrassing to see a grown man cry.

if u want a dirt bike so bad then buy one and if its to bumpy than stand up also lower ur clutch lever and i recommend a 200cc or lower since ur new.

I don’t think any professional would recommend a brand new 250 for a new rider. For 1600 you could get a great condition used bike. Also, why even put 2 people on a 125’pit bike?

I can tell how it's shaking and it's fairly brand-new the spokes are loosening up on the rims spokes in the rim need to be tightened three or four times and then they'll be fine the little shaking more go away

I had one of those apollo 250cc back in 2012 but with red plastics. They are slow, and heavy. The weight to Hp ratio is bad. They are fun at first, but you quickly get bored. First, the rear sprocket is too small. Like waaaaay to small. It's a dirtbike, not a streetbike. It should have a bigger rear sprocket. Second, the way it handles is almost like a big enduro 4 stroke. Like im talking about Suzuki Dr500 or 600cc. It feels that heavy. It also feels stiff, like somethings wrong almost. Third.. theres no spare parts. Nowhere. Good luck finding it.

Fawk that get a used RM, YZ, CR 250 2012 for $1600 to $1900 Find them all day long outclass this bike 10 to 1 and they will only need plastics to look new again and they run forever. Don't buy this junk 😂 They are great for an Electric conversion though :)

Does your bike feel stiff , mine was riding rough , so I let some air out of the shock and it definitely made a difference . Now I’ll adjust it to fit the way I ride ✌🏻 I bought mine second hand and I gotta say i put it in some mud & water and it’s never let me down
