@@zerocool1722 Ford 12 inch is the worst since it's just a small Window on the screen, or his Jeep Cherokee would be a 7/10, new tundra and sequoia, kia telluride are top tier. Pretty much any car that has carplay as full screen, like it was intended and has been for many years. It's the intentional making carplay smaller and smaller on larger and larger screens that is running rampant seemingly only to push monthly subscriptions

Apple should allow us to use streaming services on CarPlay since their gonna update CarPlay soon this would be a great idea if CarPlay knows that we’re in (P) Parked we should be allowed to watch stuff on the screen CarPlay has so much more potential so I’d like to see one year just dedicated to CarPlay updates

They really need to let you add the weather App, would be nice if you are driving and knowing when its going to start raining, if you need to get off the road for a tornado ,, etc…,, you can order donuts but you cant look at the weather… 😂

Being an EV driver I can’t live without A Better Route Planner. It even connects with the car so it knows your range and plans your journey with charging stops. Something Apple Maps could have developed.
I don’t know about other radios but in my 2022 Silverado I wish I could access the fm radio within CarPlay over going to the gm interface to do it. I can use the radio in CarPlay but if I want to change station I have to let it change it and then go back
Question, my CarPlay appears to be working, but it always has "not playing" box with is for Apple Music. I never use that and would want something else in that home page spot.
The MLB app is horrible. For me to use it I almost always have to open the app on my phone. What’s the point of the app if I still have to open the app on my phone. Plus… it would be nice if they showed the score and inning on the screen.
🤣🤣🤣 It hurts my stomach! I never have bad luck at Starbucks but Dunkin just don't sit well with me! Not to mention their donuts aren't made there and always seem to be stale... but I know lots of people love them!
I wonder if the Brave CarPlay player sends the complete video/audio data stream to play the audio only, which would be terrible for limited data plans.
I don't know about Brave, but I have unlimited data with att and sometime stream RU-vid music directly to the streaming app in my Kia Forte and can even control RU-vid's skip forward function. I just don't look at the screen since I am driving, of course.
Hello, I am looking for a device so that i can i mirror my iphone screen to the dashboard of my vehicle while i run on off-line navigator on my iphone in a wireless way. Is it also possible to use the tactile dashboard of the car to send instructions to my iphone? Kr, Marc
The apps need to support CarPlay then when you add them to your phone, they’ll show on CarPlay too. You can turn them off and change the order in Settings > General > CarPlay
Y'all literally just had an editorial about how absolutely shit your editor thinks the current state of CarPlay apps is in. It was completely wrong in every way. And it appears that you think so as well.
