It's so funny how they thought we were gonna have futuristic cars in 2015, but in reality, we got some of the most generic looking cars with a few LEDs here and there! 😂😂😂 And also can you do weird concept cars from different companies?

Ford half-assed the retro Bird. Outside, I think they nailed it. Interior? Hey...let's take the identical interior of the modern Lincoln LS and stuff it into the retro Bird. Instantly killed any originality the car might have had and went completely against what the car was supposed to represent.

Well as far as resale value goes, prices are on the rise for a good one w/removable hardtop. The other problem was the 2 seat configuration and lack of more serious horsepower. I believe that a retro style body over a properly sized Mustang chassis and running gear, with all the hot motors, would sell much better than the previous 2 seat, just as happened with the four seaters in the 50s and 60s

Arguably, GM could have countered with their Monza being a downsized Z28--probably would have offered less resistance to their 180 hp 350 engine :) I would say the Mustang II returned to its original intent--an attempt to be something for everyone. it could be optioned as a secretary's car (as Carrol Shelby called it), or a luxury version with the Ghia, or a sporty car (sure, the performance of the Cobra was lacklaster, but what wasn't during that era? and the original 289 Mustang went right up against the 389 GTO in 1964)

Today, it has found a new niche market in Australia as a Ute body style (think El Camino but longer). The funny thing is that the first Utes were farm-fab vehicles. That ranger was called Ms. Bigfoot and came in 2 different colour tones There is or was a pinto wagon for sale in Saskatchewan that had that "surfers" look to it I owned an 89 probe gt and I can tell you that if you owned one you knew how much fun it was. A fun fact about it was: the only car with more bang for your buck was the BMW m3

The fact that the ad before the video was the ford mach e abortion is hysterical. There's a billboard by a dealership saying they have hundreds (yes, multiples of hundred) currently in stock.

My first car was a 1983 Chevy Cavalier Hatchback with a 2.0 liter automatic. Decent car although the engine did blow up on me on the highway. It also had power steering problems when cold which I u derstood to be the Teflon seals they used in the rack and pinion.

Re: "Big foot cruiser" this wasn't the first time... 1967-77 Ford F250 came with a "High-boy" option. It was the bigfoot cruiser without the decal and a decade early. The 1967 Ford high-boy came with a factory 4 inch suspension and 2 inch body lift over the F250, and it came with a longer front driveline. Edit: Also I have to add a thank you. Everyone says bigfoot is a ford... 2:30 That's the Chevy C-20 one. While it never got painted with a "Bigfoot" logo, same builder and shop. Considering Bigfoot is on the 23rd iteration, it's nice to know they at least tried to get away from the ford I beam front end...

You can call them ugly all what you want, and still they aren't as ugly as the nowadays soulless monstrosities, like the Juke, Ford Ka, Picasso, etc. I love the Pinto by the way.

Before launching the probe as the probe,. they tried exactly the same thing with the name in the u.k.. originally planning on calling it a capri, wich was a big favourite here until the 80s

The Ford SHO V6 is a family of DOHC V6 engines fitted to the Ford Taurus SHO from 1989 to 1995. The designation SHO denotes Super High Output. +++++++++++++++++ Designed and built by Yamaha, the powerplant-called "the Shogun" by insiders-is a sophisticated, 24-valve, high-performance version of the standard Taurus's 3.0-liter six-cylinder.
