I’ve watched so so many lessons for “Here Comes The Sun” and I would always give up thinking I’m just not yet good enough to tackle this song. I did this off and on for like two years always wishing I could just learn the song. This song. Sounds so simple yet so hard. I've learned the intro in 2 days. Stuck in the chorus part now for a whole day. But I must say, this is the best tutorial I've come across. Thanks for this mate. I'll come back after I've learned the whole song. Day 2 : I learned the damned song. 😂 The chorus part was kind tricky with the drumming pattern but I kept practicing and it has now become a muscle memory. Woop woop.
I agree. I've checked out a lot of them for this song and this is the best one. He clearly explains how to get the strumming and note mix. It still takes practice but once you get your hand to keep strumming it goes a lot quicker.

This guy is awesome, no one on RU-vid teaches guitar more clearly. I mean, unlike other guitar teachers who tell you note by note how to play a riff, he very logically explains it with chord shapes. (if that is the right terminology)
Bought sheet music for here comes the sun in 1970. After bashing away at it for 50 years , you made it simple. Easy tune to play, lifetime to play well.
I got half way through this then my daughter was born finally came back to it and finished learning this today she's now 5 and started school, I've sat with you many nights dave learning rewinding learning and even playing you in slow motion feel like I owe you I'm still needing to speed up but think I've got it down

@@BlackFlashDrive hey look same here now I almost finished the first line of the intro just practice the timing because that's the most frustrating part because I watched his tutorial and when I played it it didn't sound the same think about it as down up motions but just practice and you'll get there
You are by far and away the best guitar instructor I've ever had - and I'm 68 years old! As a long-time Beatles fan, I've been playing "Here comes the sun" for about 25 years - but sloppily. I recently decided to learn to play it correctly and watched about 20 youtube videos before I stumbled upon yours. Your clear and complete presentation with tabular illustration clarified several issues for me. I specifically appreciated your emphasis on the rhythmic up and down strumming motion and the down-down-up picking pattern in sections of the chorus and bridge. I am more determined than ever to play this song correctly and as close to the way you demonstrated it as I possibly can. You also play the song better than anyone alive I've ever heard - and as well as George Harrison!
I’ve now been practicing 4 hours each day for the last 4 weeks and I’ve got it. The right ruthenium hand is so important as Dave mentions more than once in this superb rendition of the song.

Im 75 and have been playing since i was 30 ive bought tutorial videos and before that endless song books and i can play here comes the sun but i wish dave had been around when i first started out i could have saved a lot of time and energy be happy you have found him !also the old timers justin for example marty from the bronx have been left behind no tab which makes things go a lot slower thanks dave
to my surprise i learnt the intro in 10 minutes when it used to take me days to even get a line down. i love when i can feel i’m making progress for once, it makes it all worth it

I learned this song from someone and I was getting really impatient cause I was messing up alot and I couldnt play it smoothly, I ended up here and i feel alot better by listening to his playing

With all the honesty, I didnt see better tutorials on youtube then yours, I am taking Justin courses, but when it comes to songs, I go to you, because you explain songs better and I really like the whole UI going on the left and bottom side of the screen, its really helpfull to see it. I came over here from Marty Music - usually I find him super easy to follow but this song is challenging. Hoping I can pick it up a bit better with this lesson.

The best tutorial i found on youtube after weeks of searching. Literally this is my 5th video lesson and i leart all 4 through and through. Out of which this is the most precise. If anyone finds this hard then all you need is just a little patience.
Hands down this is the best lesson for this song..I have viewed so many and this is the one. Just take ur time and the best part of his lesson is to think about the strumming and not picking.. then you will get it!!!

I tried this a few months ago with a different tutorial video and gave up within 30 minutes of practicing and only 20% through the video. Your tutorial is so much easier.
