1948? The quality of the sound, filming, and acting screams more like 1938! I thought 1948 was a typo in the movie description.

Long faced Joan Woodbury like others at that time in Hollywood tended to be the villainess . Similar to Gale Sondergaad, Gale Patrick , Ann Dvorak , etc. Beautiful but having a long horse like head .
