With the obnoxious amount of coverage for him I would hardly say people are taking him for granted

​@@colepriceguitar1153agreed. No one is taking him for granted. Everyone around the majors says he's the best to ever play the game. I'm not an angels fan, but I watch angles games to just watch the season he is having.

At some point, people will look back on this and have a better appreciation for how truly ridiculous it is.

I speak native English and Japanese. First off, I cannot state enough how good of a natural translator Ippei is; he concisely summarizes key points and words them in both English and Japanese in the most authentic, yet easiest to understand way possible. And in addition to that, his many years of experience around baseball has I'm sure been of great help to Ohtani and the Angels. Hats off to Ippei. (I know he already gets some love, I'm adding more to it, it is seriously still underrated how good his translation abilities are.)
