This past week was so crazy because we had our photo shoot for my cookbook coming out Mama Bell‘s Big Family Cooking Cookbook that will be coming out this fall and pre-sales according to a lot of people are telling me you can get it right now, but it doesn’t have the cover photo on it or sample pages. They arrived late Monday afternoon so I took them on a tour of the farm. They looked around the house because they wanted to get a game plan for Tuesday morning on shooting the photo and each of our pictures that start the different chapters.
The first day was my video to send to different brands and TV shows, and then the pictures for my chapter which starts at our cookbook. Then there was a mini photo shoot for each of my kids and my husband and then they took pictures of the farm and different walls around my house to use his backdrops when they go back to their studio because they are making 50 of my recipes to film to put within the cookbook.
And I just will reiterate again this cookbook is so unique because not only is it just recipes, but it shares our adoption story with all my kids. It also shares our journey into becoming our big family and how we had to change our living and how we eat when it was just me and my husband then having eight children and several children come through our house through foster care because we were foster parents for around 10 years.
So you get a sneak peek of a couple videos they took and then some pictures of the behind-the-scenes of them taking all these pictures and I cannot wait to see the final pictures that they come up with to actually put into the cookbook. My kids are super excited about seeing how the pictures turned out and like I said many many many times in the video they did a wonderful job. The three of them were so kind and so sweet and I’m just thankful that they are investing in our family, and in this cookbook that we truly believe in and are excited to share with you and your family. And what’s great about the cookbook The recipes are very relatable to every day family and your kids can actually understand the recipe and make them themselves.
