I loved this!! From an experimental point of view, the kittens ate from each of their plates but soon seemed to want the company of their siblings (and their food!). After all, these kittens nursed side by side in one big fuzzy warm group for weeks. This wonderful video showed the social side of eating!

Watching kittens learn to use the litter box is hilarious. They go in there looking like they don’t know why they are in there, and they don’t know what’s happening. Then they get to dig!

Confirms that old adage 'the food is always better on the other side of the fence'.

Well, I'd say that worked, in spite of how it ended up. For a quite awhile they were satisfied to eat in their own little box.

With three cats and two dogs*, all of whom are convinced that *anybody else's food* just *has* to be better than their own food, the only solution that works is to put each one in a separate room and close the doors until all food is consumed. They all understand the drill now, and even know without prompting which room they are to go to. *Two Maine Coons, a Siamese, a Sheltie, and a Standard Poodle.

The adorable kitten siblings may be cute, cuddly and innocent looking but they are quite intelligent and cunning and will find a way to circumvent any measures to gain more food 😁😂 Moco, Nagi, Kotetsu, May and Hana may appear to compete for food but most of all, they enjoy eating together with their big brother Latte and wonderful parents Lulu and Leo. That one sure has an appetite

I do the same thing with my adult cats, at least in effect. I give them a morning wet food feed. The place I put their bowls is on a rubber pad. The pad has their dry food in a larger bowl, (that is down all the time). I put their wet food on separate sides of that on the pad. The dry food bowl acts as a barrier so there is no conflict. Before I had that separation, the female cat would push my male cat away from the bowl he was eating from. But he would let her, and then go over to the other bowl. But, then she would stop eating from the bowl she had pushed him from and push him from her original bowl. (Little pig!) He would just go back and forth between bowls in response. The separation stopped that pretty much, but just as soon as he finished up what he wanted from his bowl, she would come over and eat what was left, or at least check it out to see if there was something left in his bowl. (Even when she still had food remaining in her bowl.) Cats are funny.

Lol my kitten would eat a little bit of his food then go eat my older cat's food and my older one eats his food and my kitten will eat hers. It was tough in the beginning because he would eat so much in one time. I had to separate them so my oldee one could eat and the little one wouldn't over eat...i want more now. They're so cute!
