Here Is What I Learned about FATAL FURY COTW RPG Mode 

I hope this RPG story mode actually acknowledges events from Garou that were never shown, like Rock and Hotaru actually met and he helped her out looking for her brother. It's those kind of chemistries that make me interested in Fatal Fury.

I'm really happy to hear that EOST, will indeed be a RPG story mode, cause personally rpg mode is imo the best way for a main single player mode for fighting games. As much as I like netherrealm style story modes, they really are just movies with occesional fighting, but RPG modes imo do a better job at engaging a player to play as well in learning how to properly learn the game. While there hasn't been a RPG story mode in a fighting game I would call perfect, I'm glad companies try to experiment with ways to do a single player contant

I feel like there was a misunderstanding from the interview. Watching it and hearing their answers gave me the impression that this rpg mode would have references and lore but would not be the main story delivery method. Yes they said that they cared a lot about the story but never said it was told through this mode. Just that this mode would have reference to the history of south town

Glad they are aware the lack of single player content in previous games Maybe its not world tour or a cinematic story mode but its a oerfect complement to the arcade mode, and its firts step, maybe in the future they can give us more complex things

SNK could be re-releasing SamSho RPG, KoF Kyo and the Final Fantasy-like Kimi no Yuusha for the Nintendo DS (that had keyblade-wielding MC named Wanda).

I like the idea of a post-Arcade Mode "just exist in this world" kind of thing; something that's meant for prolonged gameplay rather than the sporadic runs of Arcade Mode. Part of me was wondering if KOF XV would have something like that somewhere, but it makes sense to package it into a game with more worldbuilding; while KoF was more about the core, competitive experience and polishing that. It does have a fairly ideal cast for something like a "history book mode," however - like mini-versions of the older titles with relevant team configs.

The RPG mode seems like a far better Mortal Kombat 1 invasions mode with it being less repetitive gameplaywise with the inclusion of Loir for each character. I wonder if the DLC characters will have their own RPG chapters.

I never care about single player content, although its a welcome addition. I just want a good lobby where I can wait for both rank and casual matches at the same time like in SF6, and a room match where there can be multiple fights between room members.

i hope city COTW has proper cut scenes to explain the story and lore of each character. something like kof 15's in game cuts scenes but more expansive or even something to the likes of mortal kombats cut scenes but place the at the beginning of each mission. i want to see all the characters interact with each other over long cuts scenes since the rpg mode isn't 3d based.

So this I'll be SC2 Weapon Master Mode, niceeee (that mode had ton of replay value)

Really happy that they put time and effort into the story.

I think the online connection thingy probably means the mode is getting updated over time, maybe new events/modes happen with DLC characters and perhaps even an EOST expansion patch in the future giving us more. One thing I'll say, keep an eye out for character models in this mode, even in flashbacks, as it might tease incoming DLC in the future (not necessarily this season but in seasons yet to come)

RPG mode is an AOF4 beta.

This game is gonna be a blast. Excited for EOST!

I hope they design some unique missions with special conditions for each character.

with NPCs that are not in the main game - i'm hoping for that one guy from Fatal Fury 1 who hung on two poles. also a version of Mai who bounces off of pillars.

Rpg mode in World Tour Mode from Street Fighter 6.

Somehow, this reminds me of KOF Kyo, especially the map! but with a mix of fighting! This looks very promising!

I really liked the mission modes in Maximum Impact 1 and 2. I would have liked something similar.

Hopefully we might get Cody travers , guy , lucia morgan ,or kimberly Jackson as a capcom guest character. 17 base characters and 5 season 1 guest characters its assumed that andy bogard will be dlc as he was confimred to be in the game but not shown yet .... also we haven't seen gato yet

I like the World Tour but I honestly prefer the Making mode from Kof R series for NGPC. There were some crazy stuff there, like being able to equip an unblockable gun, having a free revive, and a skill that would just straight up make you win the round if you landed it. World Tour is just kind of mild compared to what SNK used to do for the KoF R series.

I am excited to try this. I play fighters for the game play and to enjoy the lore or the story of the fighters. I want to jump into the action not wonder around as some random created character. SNK is getting straight into the best parts of fighting games😊

2:29 (Pause the video) I like we see some characters like this He visually Reminds me of the Cancelled character from Garou 2 (The 2 guys that wore suites. Even 1 of them had a Bennie or rag on their head) They don't share the same stance sadly. BUT I really Hope those characters from that sprite sheet make a return in someway. I would rather those 5 cut characters from Garou 2 be base roster but from what it looks like they are stuck as DLC possibilities. (for those who don't know) In Garou 2 we had 5 New characters coming to the game and Personally they all looked amazing and I would have loved to see them here. Look up a high quality sprite sheet of that roster and you will see what I mean. To me I don't want anyone else taking their spot. To me they have the right to be in the game first before any other Characters (those characters right there have/Had so much work and value put into them I really want them to have that chance to shine. Especially Gato's Father who the Devs said they loved his design and he is important to Gato's story and the reason Gato will be blind since his father ripped out his eyes in his ending.) Those Characters had so much value. The only character in that sprite sheet you can ignore is the Student of Joe Since she basically got redesigned into Preecha I would love if SNK made that a skin as a call back Because it looked cool still even back then. But Those other 4 Yeah They need to be in this game and be fully realized.

Nabil dont lie to the people, in the interview they said the "RPG" inst the story mode, will be "maybe" have any battle related, but not the main story The "story mode" is the arcade mode just like KoF 15 and 14
