I'm right there with you. I just got a letter demanding the rest of my rent to be paid in ten days or "legal procedures" will begin. I'm in Pennsylvania and I AM PRAYING.
🍀we've all been there, and what doesn't kill you, will make you stronger! but here's some advice ... 1) don't live above your means! 2) unless you have $$ in the bank to afford a large fab apartment - start out small (a studio or cute 1 bedroom). 3) place your priorities - what more important RENT or the latest PHONE??? smh, and finally - read & adhere to all notices and paperwork!! Evictions are legal / court proceedings, that do not happen overnight. You should receive warnings, and court appearances notices before the actual eviction??! - therefore get you stuff together and get out of the property before they set your stuff outside!! Do not just sit there and get ran over by the train !! If you turn in your key before the eviction - an "eviction" will not be on your credit report (for future rentals) Good luck🌸.
I have been with Idaho housing now for over a year they have pushed me up another four to five months my rent is tripled I've had to go to churches to get help on my rent and get food I never ever had to do this in my life I'm retired now and I'm working two part-time jobs most of my retirement check goes on the rent then you have to pay utilities which is up another 30% groceries and gas there's not enough left do you have a car payment insurance my landlord does not wait he wants his money on the first or he will start eviction
Great video... The pandemic changed everything for me plus and just a few months back it was difficult to keep up with the bills. Information like this are very helpful even though I found my way out through some financial procedures I learnt from an expert.
Which state are you in? I'm in Pennsylvania and have never faced being behind in rent. I paid about a third of this month's rent and I'm nearly broke and still job hunting.
