I’ve been in this unfortunate situation for 2 years where a man calls and texts you for his ego and validation,uses you for love and attention yet won’t commit. It’s painful,confusing and frustrating and will deplete your self esteem

The thing that comes to my mind is how many immature emotionally unavailable game playing men there are in the world now .. very sad for females who want to meet someone mature and right .. I can only see it getting worse

We as women have to STOP giving our power away !!!!

Narcissists don't change! He will pretend to have changed temporarily to get his supply and will soon go back to his old patterns. You're wasting your life. Just walk away!

I dumped a little child that was just like this on March 25 this year. He was crazy. I walked away like a queen. His ego was so blown. I moved out while his oldest kid was in town at the house, so he couldn't say he threw me out of the house. He begged me not to leave. He was rolling under the radar, an undercover narcissist.

💯 truth! He can do the same with ten women and date none of them while he feels like the big man on campus! Get the attention and compliments from women.

Also i just went through this ladies. Its very true. I was being texted every day by a guy who lives 3 hours from me and he was a family friend. He never made any plans because “he works too much” 🙄🙄 he flattered me with words, was constantly checking on me to make sure i wasnt hooking up with other guys. The whole thing was sickening to me and i had to exit the situation because i knew my self worth. He wanted to continue talking every day even after i expressed i deserved better. Ladies, when you meet a man like this....run fast!! It was a total power trip. I feel much better having let him go!!!!

Omg.. this came at the right time.. I just told my ex sometimes you want me and sometimes you don't.. I told him he needs to let me go.. cause I'm not going through this back and forth.

I'm just learning this at age 61, but believe me my granddaughter's will know this, taught them by their grandmother!

This. I didn't realize this fuckery was so common, I thought I was in an uncommon situation for this long. I feel less stupid now for falling for it but yes we put the weight of relationship on ourselves, more communication etc..

Dang! This is so related to my ex boyfriend from the past and my ex husband from the past!! No wonder I never have a happy relationships! Now I listen to this just made me realize that that is it!! Good thing I walked away! It’s been 18 years!! Now I just found my true happiness!

In my opinion, men don't usually let women go. They'll come and go as and when they please. Keep you on a rotation. They need supply and hate knowing they have no options. So they keep you around. They need a placeholder, FWB , bench warmer , a body to keep them warm at night etc. It's nothing personal.

Very true and right on. What happens when you marry this type? In my case, being intuitive, I knew every time he cheated. After 7 years, I nicely told him this life with him is not working for me and packed up me and my daughter (didn't want her to be with a man like her Father), broke me to pieces, I left and moved across the continent to start my life over. That's what you do, you walk and never look back.

holy moly, this is so spot on. i'm drained, exhausted, and stifled ever since this person came into my life. the worst part is, i already know it was ego right from the get-go, i'm just way too enduring and patient to accept the fact that indeed this was toxic.

I had something just like that- he was doing this shit to me I didn’t let him very long he was not leaving me alone. And I just blocked him. But before that of course 😂 I sent all the screenshots of love msgs he was trying to hold me with to every woman he liked a picture of! 😂 he regretted deeply he tried this shit on me- he is a psycho. Anyone that ever tries to do this will get the same crap I promise. The bad thing about this is that person doesn’t think how much damage they can do to you by wasting your time.

I am embracing myself, my home as his home base, the only place he wants to be. He has been thrown from the pedestal I myself placed him. Good vlog, it does explain the strange lingering association that some men have to past relationships, esp my Narcissistic ex-husband who was not a good guy, who cheated, then did awful things to take as much as he could after our marriage ended, but seemed upset at the concept of me moving on - thus his controlling behavior got worse and has been a nightmare for three years AFTER our divorce!

I'm doing the no contact now after failing to do it many times. He tx'd me in the middle of the night and stupidly I responded. It was a tx which didn't make any sense, so just to get a reaction, which I did. Now I will try to NOT reach out and not respond. It's very very hard but I get the reverse psychology of it. 💔💔❤️❤️

I came to this conclusion and in speaking with some guys on this (“owning”) they seem to especially feel this way 1) once you’re married to them and 2) once you have their kid(s) & regardless of marital status.

I am currently in this situation and I dont understand why cant men just decide to be decent and be a gentleman if they see you are different. Actually why cant they be like this like forever. But yah, guess thats the way the Creator made them. And He made us, women to be in control. I think its because we are more sensitive to feelings and life. Wow! I'm watching this just in time. I've been talking to a guy about 3 weeks, 2 hours away, met once, NO HOOK UP, calls at least twice a day, sometimes more. The first time he said that he wasn't sure what he wanted, I told him I understand. I told him to take all the time he needs & feel free to get back with me when he knows what he wants & we can go on our second date, if I'm still available. The next day he was blowing up my phone & leaving texts. I finally called back & he seemed to have gained clarity. One week later he is confused again, after hours & hours of us of laughing & great phone conversations. 😳 smh. This weekend WOULD HAVE been date 2. Thank you Alex. I got fed up and block him I told him I don't be with people husband or boyfriend and he said in and angry way yes I have some body else he wasn't letting me go so I blocked him

I think I did break the chain of him seeking for my attentions,he's a married one in need (at this point I can tell) of validation for his ego. And don't get me wrong,he did the most and big time for me in these months to show me his affection, but not once told me "the situation" will change eventualy,so.. Now I'm in the place where I told him we may not see each other for a (long) while, and I made my personal peace with it, cause I feel hurt in a way so that's easy for me to keep distance. My question at this point is what to expect, do you think there should or will be anything he could do to fix things and get back togheter one day? And what should these things be?? I don't want to sell cheap at this point
