Say what you want about Jon outside of the cage, but inside the cage, his résumé speaks for itself and he actually seems like he’s turned his life around
He's literally the only ufc champion who's fought more than any person in the ufc. He fought three different generations of competition. Most the people he beat are retired from the ufc.
Put Jones in the HOF call him the best the goat the cow whatever.. But He lost his last light heavyweight fight to Reyes and gifted ciryl gane who was taken down by francis...anyone more inactive then Jones?
And this was before Tom Aspinall was even fighting for the interim and Stipe Vs Jones was scheduled. Now all these casuals out of nowhere talking shit again 💀.
@@mxbblife_mu Someone like Cain Velasquez (who is 6ft1 and not a huge guy) fighting at heavyweight is so much more impressive than most of the things Jones has done. I disagree with the argument that "Cyril gane isn't well rounded so what Jon did in that fight isn't that impressive) Cyril is fucking HUGE and absolutely dangerous so I actually look at that as Jon's most impressive win. But for the most part he's fought SO many 5ft10 to 6ft1 guys that were in their 30's fighting Jon when he was in his prime I mean look at Jon's impressive wins: Rashad Evans..that's a 5ft10 man going up against a 6ft4 man What about DC? Literally 36 years old when they FIRST fought...he was obviously older in the 2nd and Jon STILL felt the need to take roids Lyoto? When you watch that fight it looks like a midget going against a literal giant I could go on and on but I think you get my point. It's not Jon's fault that there's not alot of bigger guys at light heavyweight but personally it would have been more impressive if he went to heavyweight WAY earlier.
