Timothy?? This Scandinavian Home Is Very Unique!! Really Different From The Other's You Have Presented!! It's Like Living I'm Iceland!! Very Interesting To Look At!! Keep Bringing Us These Quality Homes!!
Love the tile up to the ceiling in the kitchen. Only thing I would’ve done is upgraded the shower feature in the master bathroom to a multi-head unit. Overall I really love this design, it gives me ideas for my next home😊
I really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. I would love to have a master bedroom with a bathtub and separate shower in the master bathroom on the main floor. So far, I love the patio, built-ins throughout, the open shelves in the kitchen area, and the floating night stands in the master bedroom. I turn the basement into an apartment where you could have your own access. I give this home a 5.5 overall.
Scandinavian architecture is so pleasing to look at! Also this home looks familiar…was it next to a home you previously toured? I think it was two videos ago
It is called Scandinavian only for marketing. I don't like the back Garage, no yard back there. Also the Garage is way too narrow, I want to see them park two full size vehicles in it and access them. It might be Scandinavian in that sense since they'd drive smaller vehicles but that wouldn't work here in the US. No freakin' Closets for coats and boots in a Scandinavian style home? The ceiling in the Basement is too low as is and then by the time you finished it... It looks cute, but too many shortcomings.
I love the clean and calm simplicity of this home. It is relaxing to not have every surface screaming at me for my attention. What would I change? I'd take the sink off the Island and make the island just a tad bigger. There is room to arrange the outside wall in the kitchen to accommodate both a sink with a window, and the range. If there was a way to add one more bedroom upstairs, it would be a pretty perfect house.
I love the risk they are taking with the exterior architecture, however I think that they made some key, head-scratching decisions that I wouldn't have made. 1.) you have that giant front porch, but you have to go through the front door to access it. Open that up to the living room with sliders like off the dining room so that it will actually get used. 2) speaking of that dining room/back porch access, put a cover over that porch to create a better indoor/outdoor living space. 3) There isn't a coat closet at all on the main floor. That's a huge miss. On the plus side, that kitchen is great.
Make the kitchen have natural tone wood cabinets and get some color going in the house other than white and reduce the amount of windows in the living/dining area I would like this home.
Yeah - a lot of these in suburban Texas. There’s often an alley or drive lane between the rear of properties. There’s a visual appeal to move the large blank garage door to the rear of the home.
LOL it looks like they went to IKEA for lighting and decor. I miss the large windows a decent patio and 3 car garage. I am half Swedish and for some reason I did not inherit the look for Swedish design.
