Just as I predicted, here is the 2024 C8 Corvette Eray in all its glory! A few days ago I found they had 2024 on the visualizer....now today, here it is. I'm not one to say I told ya so but....I TOLD YA SO! :)
Super cool to see this. Likely means they will make an announcement very soon about the 2024 model year and the E-Ray. Say it is coming Summer 2023....but they also said Summer 2022 for the Z06 and we saw how that went.
A couple new colors and some other cool options. I am sure we will hear more about the 2024 Stingray and Z06 soon as well.

It has been done for quite some time and tested at the Nürburgring. If you notice that this will be a more STREET based vehicle as car and driver predicted. The GREEN is similar to PORSCHE MINT GREEN, but not as bright. Ultimate GT car will be its appeal and sold alongside the Z06. As a Porsche competitor, it will be Carrera S, Carrera T, Targa and LIVERY edition competitor. Possibly on the level of a McLaren Artura.

Im first on the list at my dealership! It looks like the Z06...It will have 600HP...100 HP more than the base C8 and it will take less gas! It will also be AWD! 💥💥

Word on the street is they are going to do direct reservations and ordering like the Hummer. So unfortunately dealer lists may not matter if that is true

Right, but I’m saying that ordering won’t go through the dealership. You’ll have to place a new deposit and reservation direct with Chevy. So the dealer lists don’t matter. If that rumor is true.

@@SupercarRanch Nah that's ridiculous...only the electric Hummer and the fully electric Corvette "Zora" will be baught by the dealer directly....each dealership will get like only 1 of those

Yeah might just be a rumor. But the person I heard it from has been privy to a lot of insider info. So I’ll believe it when I see it, but there is some weight behind it.

Right on man 👍, great catch and calling it a couple days ago! I'm very interested in the E-Ray platform! The Acura NSX Type S is nice and this should beat the doors off of it! 🤔 Very interesting colors! Looks like my paint engineers at the NCM Bash were spot on with their information! They said Carbon Flash Black would be sticking around and we'd see a green or purple and get a grayish new interior color! Kudo's -Shane

Yeah this will be a good car. Faster than the stingray but not as hardcore as the Z06. I’m just worried it’s going to be way more expensive than people think. We will be lucky if it starts at $90k. But for all we know it’ll start at $130k 🤷‍♂️

Yeah that’s what I’m worried about. Stingray up to $65k. Then add hybrid system. Let’s say $15k. Then add AWD, $10k. Then add widebody $8k. Then add other electronics that it looks like it comes with, $12k. That’s $110k right there. I don’t see how this thing stays under $100k

I think they don’t have to copy but at least come close to that color. I’ve seen similar greens to the lambo and the c8 looked awesome. Everyone has different opinions so who knows maybe this pastel green will hit it off well. Maybe they are trying to reach female buyers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Honestly, I can’t wait until we have the car that brings the E-Ray and Z06 together ! All wheel drive hybrid 5.5 flat plane crank center mounted exhaust. The E-Ray would be the perfect car if it had the 5.5 paired with the hybrid system. I guess we’ll have to wait for the ZR1 or Zora. People keep talking about the ZR1 or Zora being turbo or super charged but if they’re going to use the 5.5 L flat plane there’s no way it’s going to accept boost.. They will get the extra power out of some bad ass electric motors to reach the coveted 1000 HP mark.

I don’t see them boosting the 5.5. They’ve even said it will be bespoke to the Z06. I think they will basically twin turbo the E-Ray and add more power to the electric motors. 800-900+ hp and it’ll cost like $150k base and just be insane.

Not yet. I’m guessing $99k with delivery included. That’ll put it $10k under the Z06. I don’t think they can build this for $80k like some people are predicting

I did not, but the renderings were really buggy. So it’s not done yet. And I’m not sure, but it may not be a plug in hybrid. We should find out soon.

Rumor are around 600. It’s reusing the same LT2 490hp engine from the Stingray, but will add the electric engine as well.

hybrid....but I'm sure its not for everyone. Then again, the P1, LaFerrari, SF90, 918 and plenty of other amazing cars also use similar hybrid technology.

Yeah they will be the last non electrified vettes. Here’s the way I see it - it’s gunna happen. Rather than fighting it, the enthusiast community should get onboard and start finding way to use this technology to build a better car for the enthusiast. We’ve only seen EVs be ugly econoboxes, but let’s shift how we look at EVs.
