One last comment, I promise. Cole is a spirit of compassion, but he felt compassion for those murdered by the corrupted Wardens, not to those and those Wardens who allowed that to happen.
Remember what flemeth told hawke? "We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet INTO THE ABYSS. Watch for that moment... and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap. It is only when you fall that you learn whether you can fly" And guess what the name of this quest.
That's the beauty of a blind playthrough: you make your own choices without outside interference and/or influence. I understand that part of the public has their preferences and their personal justifications, but don't blame yourself for being truthful in your choices.
i feel like you made a great point when having to choose between the two. Its your story! also your reasoning is one i see people who truly love the story talk about. The choice is always difficult, but im always curious what people will choose and why. No judging lol. For me i always reason that if anyone could survive, find a way out, or kill the demon it would be Hawke, plus hes my main character, he has had his story, and maybe it will continue. But for now, he is not needed, and i know my hawke would prefer to stay behind if it means helping others. Something Flemeth once said to hawke: When facing the abyss, do not hesitate to jump. As if a warning or a suggestion to Hawke on how they face their destiny.
Technically it is Hawkes fault that Corypheus is free so I feel they had a reason to stay behind. There is no wrong choice. Your epilogue will reflect your choices same as Origins. The only wrong choice is not romancing Cullen 🤪 haha jk.
@@ThatRedheadGamerGirl Were you watching Ghil Dirthalen's channel. I find her quite informative about everything Dragon Age. I'm quite grateful to her, since I'm fairly objective focused when gaming and I miss the lore that doesn't relate to the quest I'm on.
It’s interesting that she always says comments that Allistair had to be king.. they quite literally give you several chances to NOT make him king… He ALSO spends the entire game saying he DOESNT want to be king. I was always baffled that she chose to make him king. 🤷🏻♀️ she could’ve had a happy ending with him, but she chose otherwise
Got to admit; Morrigan is definitely NOT a character I appreciate very much. Not in Origin, and not in Inquisition. I had enough of her by the time I reached Lothering in Origin. After that, I just stopped bringing her anywhere. I do find her more agreeable in Inquisition, though, if she got her Old God baby. However, I did appreciate her giving me a solution to all the dying that would hinder me from marrying my king Alistair, ngl.
