Fun fact: the etymology of "thall" originates from the slurred pronunciation of the World of Warcraft character Thrall when spoken with a Swedish accent
@@MetalSharpensMetal actually I think they explained it as they were trying to say "Thank you all" and then somehow "thank" and "all" got put together in "Thall"
Buster doesnt write riffs for vildhjarta (except in this song, that harmonic riff, which he didnt originally write for vildhjarta, it was just a scrapped riff he couldnt use for either bands, hlb or vildhjarta, that he posted on insta) he is only a drummer in vildhjarta, and he writes everything for humanity's last breath. Calle thomer and daniel bergstrom deserve more attention. Daniel is responsible for the creation of thall, and calle has the style of thall that is dominant in the current vildhjarta, used to be morr towards daniel's style
That's true, those guys are wild and i can't imagine writing like them. I think I was just pointing more to Buster being capable of playing much of it too, but maybe I was just seeing him play a few of his own riffs here and there
Its pronounced kind of like, "Hyeel-vah" - its a very old surname in Swedish that translates into "She-Wolf" and is one of the earliest documented names in history.
Ylva is the name of calle thomer's therapist from the past, so yeah mental health stuff. I think the two songs are about the lives of the anthropomorphic animals we saw in masstaden after paaradiso, from the end of masstaden under vatten.
Oh snap! My search history tells me I had heard of that band a while back, but I forgot about it. Very catchy proggy stuff, I added it to the playlist. Thanks for watching!
Really nice video man, you completely went deep on the subject i appreciate it a lot !! Vildhjarta are awesome, i've been a fan since multiple years now, long live THALL !!
OMG i loved your channel! As a christian, analysing what i hear, specially metal has been something i've always done, and it's so necessary! I love explaining these sorta concepts behind the music and lyrics to my friends and showing them the artistic integrity and validity of heavier stuff. Blessed to find someone that does that to others! God bless you and your house man. Oh, and T H A L L
