Best BBQ on the Northside of Houston tx my late great homie Jared Scales started the spot with his wife Rhonda and his scales family rih my guy Jared .
Yes Sir.. you went to the right spot. Been a customer since their original location on 610 & Lockwood. In the Fiesta parking lot when they only had the food trailer.
In Texas, cattle is king. Cattle ranches are a huge deal/money maker in Texas. The Cattlemen’s Assoc. sued Oprah Winfrey in a huge case because they said she made people not want to eat beef when did a show on mad cow disease.
Baybee!!! I've been 3 times, The loaded chicken baked Potatoe, The Brisket Baked potatoe, The Brisket sandwich, the potatoe salad all bomb!!! The cakes are really good. I will be going back the 4th time very soon 😊
OMG I love Darius. Listen, I just stumbled on one of your videos and loved it. It was Esther's and I literally went today bc of your video. It was ok 3 out of 5. Anyway, I'm watching your videos back to back. Very entertaining!!! Keep it going!! 3js is ok too 3.5 out of 5.
i've had tripple j's and im completely the opposite of DC'z ASSESSMENT brisket is A1 sausage is good ...i had better ribs are on a scale of 1-10 > 10 being the highest ....i rate the ribs a 6 but i will say this TRIPPLE J'Z has surpassed BURNS across the board rib to rib ....brisket to brisket ....sausage they about even... chicken they even ... baked potatoes .....winner goes to TRIPPLE J's.... Im not THROWING shade on BURNS but they need improvement in the quality of their products. i really cant taste the love of how they are cooking smoking etc... the PITMASTER needs to change some things over there .
I like Triple J's ! Price is a bit high, and many times it's about convenience. What part of town you're in, and what time you get off work or out of school ! I like 3 or 4 different BBQ spots, depending on my taste that day. I definitely love picking up myself, a pound of sliced brisket from Pappas BBQ ! 👍 Hickory smoked with those burnt ends.😋
Lol😂😂 I am dying about the Uncle that used to be on cocaine making the tea....True about no Brisket in Chicago I was born there and migrated to Houston as a youth but my Dad's favorite place was Lem's ( Talking 70's &80's) and it was all about the ribs... I do love Brisket now though.
I grew up in Chicago and I didn’t grow up on brisket either. It was not common in Chicago. I have to say moving to Houston after high school brisket is now a part of my must have lists. It has to be cooked right and moist. I know some real brisket cookers here.
I feel ya on them green beans....I love mine but I also enjoy & double up on Texas Roadhouse's greenbeans. Say what u said about that brisket....Milwaukee stand up 💪🏾Ijs
Not to be negative but I knew the music was loud when I heard the New Edition music playing and I think that's to loud for a restaurant setting. However, that won't deter me from trying the place out. I bet the food is outstanding.

Best BBQ in Houston is Corkscrew, Truth, Pinkerton, Blood Brothers in my opinion. You didn’t go to the correct place to taste great brisket. Austin has the best BBQ in Texas by the way.
