Perimenopause Bleeding Issues
The amount of bleeding that is considered normal during perimenopause can vary from woman to woman. Some women may experience no bleeding at all, while others may experience light menopause spotting or heavy bleeding. If you experience vaginal bleeding after menopause (12 months without a period), or heavy bleeding after menopause that is bright red, see your healthcare practitioner immediately.

We hope that through this project of shared storytelling it will help us all learn more what’s happening to our bodies, give us tools and information that we can use for our own self-care, and remind us that we are not alone.

• Give real life examples of what has worked for other women
• Showcase women’s courage in the face of this midlife journey
• And most importantly reassure women that they are not alone and that there is a way through

@@herstasishealth I wish more people who are going through this change speak on how they are able to manage working or are there some sort of support you can get if you are unable to work during the perimenopause.

@@viewsbyshawnee I know how difficult it can be to focus on work when you're experiencing symptoms of perimenopause, such as brain fog and anxiety. Even routine tasks can become overwhelming. By the way, where are you located? It's worth noting that the UK has made strides in recognizing and supporting women in the workplace.
