I have seen your comments. You are a lovely bunch! 💓🧿💓 I’m getting better and I will be doing a live as soon as I am well again. Sending you all love and high vibrations 🧿
I remember singing her Jesus take the wheel song to my babysitter when I was little, just the lyrics alone made my babysitter cry 🥲❤️ she is absolutely a phenomenal music artist in every aspect
One of the best things about Carrie is her ability to connect with and emote the songs she chooses. That's what you see here, and with Brad in "Remind Me", and her "Jesus Take the Wheel", one of her earliest songs.
yep 6 months there about I think ... because she announced it in Sep. and they were doing the video in nov. I think doctors tell you to wait till the 14 week scan to tell people so if that is true she would have been about 6 months along. just a guess.
This is about the best experience you can ever have. Getting saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus and getting baptized in water. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! ❤🙌
Yes Carrie and Vince Gill doing “How great thou art” is chilling!! It means a lot to me because it was my grandfathers favorite church hymn. He passed when I was 10, but I have vivid memories of him singing this in the kitchen on Sunday mornings while cooking breakfast before church! Love and miss him VERY VERY much!
Carrie's vocals are crazy good! The power in her voice and the way she can hold those notes is incredible! I don't know who wrote it but the lyrics saved me during some tough times!
She can do anything and is so important to Country Music because we had so many amazing Country singers in the 90s and not much after that. It’s great that we have Carrie and it was Brad Paisley who admitted he’d told Carrie that she’s incredible and although she won’t believe it, twenty years from now she’ll be able to look back and realize just how much she meant to and did for this genre.
Ms. Adell I am seeing you’re reactions going torwards Country and Angelina which is a good thing. Plenty of great country music to listen to and as Angelina grows she will have plenty of great music. Once again like watching ur reactions. 👍
She wrote this song in reference to her baptism and her journey to God and being saved. A couple of female country singers that you should try Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton. But one song I would love to see your reaction too is God only knows by for king and country
Hi there I gotta see how great thou srt, her vocals are off the chsrt, and then watch before he cheats the song/ vid is amazeballs..I'm a recent convert to Carrie, love love love her voice.
First of all you need to hear the song DRINKING ALONE another very very good song by her but what I was going to say is Simon Powell said before she won American Idol is that she would be a Megastar and Carrie Underwood really is. When she sings she puts her faith, her feelings and what she believes in to every single song and that's what I love about her.
"Temporary Home" is fantastic . "Jesus Take the Wheel", "Cry Pretty" will knock your socks off. Oh and Carrie and John Legend "Hallelujah" ( an original)
I believe this is when Carrie met, then married Mike Fisher whom was a professional hockey player from Canada. He was once from Canada, then moved to the U.S.A., and married her.
Like the men of country the women tend to be strong, independent minded, good natured people. Carrie is no exception, phenomenal in many ways. If you are in the mood for a truly touching song sometime check out Carrie's "Temporary Home".
You may have been told this before but if you want your life to change immediately OU have to listen to Carrie Underwood sing “How Great Thou Art” Live at the Grand Ole Opry. Love your channel.
I love how Carrie stays dry with all the chaos around her in the video. That's what "the water" does! At the end, once her faith is solid, chaos is subdued. That's the my take, anyway!
@gitana adelle You were actually pretty spot on with your comment. Carrie was in the middle of a lot of personal issues around this time and this was around the turning point where she decided to stop dwelling and being sad and stand up for herself and face her problems head on. I also believe this may have some religious aspects as well when she says "there must be something in the water" I believe she's referring to Holy Water and listening more to the words of her pastor and her bible. That's my own interpretation though. I really won't be surprised if I'm actually waaaaay off about it. But that's the message I get from this song.
she was about 6 months pregnant with her first child here after losing a few pregnancies so I think this was a time in her life she relied heavily on her faith
Hi Gitana, I'm a new subscriber and I really like watching your reactions of all the different music types. I have been a BIG Carrie Underwood fan since her start, she is simply outstanding. Like a few people have mentioned below, you really need to watch Carrie Underwood sing "How Great Thou Art" with VInce Gill. Carrie will BLOW YOU AWAY with her vocals in this song. If you want to listen to ine of her early songs, try "Jesus Take The Wheel". Take care.
It's not a different phase is just actually her music that she created on her own for her own vocals anytime she does a collaboration it's almost always completely different than what she sings as a solo. Solo Carrie is the true Carrie
Carrie Underwood has talked about her faith from day one. That is something that she has always leaned on when she had hard times and she doesn't mind talking about it neither. She's honestly a good person and she tries to live her life by doing good and treating people how she would want to be treated but yes Carrie Underwood is all about her religion and what she believes. When it comes to country music you will see the artist always interact with their fans and they will tell you if it wasn't for the fans we wouldn't be where we are today. So if you go to concerts or anything that they do they stop and talk to you and listen. You don't see that in many other genres of music they just don't do it it's like they take your money and you'll see a glimpse of them but not in country. They really do love their fans. And one more thing when it comes to country music you really have to be able to sing they don't use the mixing boards or the other things that changes their voices a country singer has to be able to sing oncue anywhere and without instruments and that's one thing I love about country music.
She is christian (obviously) and has a few singles that are christian/ country. I don't know if you're christian or if you like that type of music. But if you do, she also has jesus take the wheel and temporary home.
please don't rush things get better we all love and miss you we want you back but only if your felling better i believe that we all found each other because good people find good people
Try listening to Colter Wall! I’d suggest 16 brewery sessions “Devil wears a suit in tie” or sleeping on the blacktop! And you need to listen to the King of Country, George Strait! Try the music video “Seashores of old Mexico!! Or “I’ve got a car”!!!!
Carrie Underwood - How Great Thou Art ft. Vince Gill live at the ACM Girls Night Out. I would love a reaction video but if you don’t do one I would still love for you to listen to it. It is beautiful.
You should try some Kane Brown--Heaven, or Homesick...you will be surprised :). Also, Trace Adkins--Arlington. Make sure you have a whole box of Kleenex. Brooks and Dunn--I Believe (as another suggested down below). And of course, Brad Paisley--Whiskey Lullaby ft. Alison Krause...make sure it's the actual video!
In this stage of her life she newly pregnant I think like 4-5 months. And they had had infertility issues. Her faith and belief in god is something she’s always had and has always been very open with her faith and belief in god. She’s sang about it on all of her albums. This was a bigger hit because she fought for the record label to make this her first single on her greatest hits cd
React to Martina McBride. She also has the strong voice. Independence Day, Broken Wing, Concrete Angel are a few that pop to mind. She has one that is a little softer call My Valentine that was so underrated.
Fun fact about this video, Carrie was actually pregnant when they filmed it which is why a lot of the shot of her are either far away or of just her face.
