This episode really made you understand Negan and what he's been through, deep down he's a good guy but the world made him into a monster. My favourite character alongside Rick
The most complicated and controversial character in TWD. Now I'm 100% sure that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is one of the best actors in the world. Amazing job. Hope, he will be in Rick movies
You read it wrong. He burned the bat because it got so old being buried during the years, that with two hits it broke in half. Negan was broken too after that, and he reminisced on his wife, and took that chance to say farewell to his wife by that bat thay represented her. Since he missed that chance with actual Lucille, he wanted to say goodbye and put her down once and for all, and move on with his life. It wasn’t because he hated his former self. In fact, he named his reasons why he had to do everything that he did during that time as a dictator.
Negan is such a well round out and thought out character. After you learn about his backstory it kinda makes sense that he became that way, and I kinda forgive him for it.
That smile he makes to Maggie at the end of Here's Negan, I think is really saying something for those that were confused by it. So here is my interpretation of it: By the end of his origin episode, he is finally at peace with himself for his past actions and for Lucille's death. He is moving forward from his past, but still holds himself accountable for it and will be ready for any consequences that come back to him for it. Him smiling at Maggie was his way of communicating 'I'm ready if you still wanna kill me'. He will do whatever he can to prove his loyalty to the people of Alexandria, and try his best to earn his place but if any of them still wanna kill him (Maggie), he'll welcome it. By the end of that episode, he doesn't care if he lives or dies anymore. He's finally found closure in a way he didn't before.
Damn that is good i cannot wait for that hard conversation, i think Maggie will go off on him but she will withdraw from killing him, Maggie says "if you step out of line even once if you even look at my boy with a bad glance, i will destroy you". Remember that.
That's how I read into it as well. Negan is probably the most well written character in the series. I'd like him to survive to the end, but in my opinion, he needs to die sacrificing himself. Villain to Hero. It makes sense for his character, especially if he's saving Hershel.
I can't even express how much I love this character. First they make you hate him, then they make you feel sorry about him and finally the make you admire him for the badass he is. Now THAT is what I call character development!
I don't care what you say. Negans character arc is one of the best in cinematic history. And is by far one of the most sympathetic villians in cinema history next to Anakin skywalker/darth vader himself.
It is certainly up there and i agree with the tragic villian comparison, anakin/vader. Negan really is one of the most interesting characters, to appear in 21st century cinema top 10 in my mind, alongside Jax teller, Dexter Morgan, Anakin skywalker, walter white, sopranos, he is just that good.
Lucille give me strength line has a totally different meaning now and perspective Negan is weak without Lucille same with how Rick lost himself losin Lori and in a way michone after losing Rick
Omg. I almost cried. I know what cancer has done to destroy families. My dad had pancreatic cancer. My mom had liver cancer. They’re both in heaven so i know how hard it is to do this shit.
I only liked Negan as an antagonist for seasons 7 and 8. Apart from that, I despised him. These last few seasons have made me respect him so much more - especially after this episode, where we saw more layers added to his character. You’ve managed to capture that so well in this edit.
I SAW IT, THE COMIC VERSION USE TO CUSS TEENAGERS AND GET COMPLAINTS ABOUT NEGAN'S ATTITUDE WHILSTE THE TV VERSION GOT FIRED BECAUSE HE GOT INTO A FIGHT WITH SOMEONE Can this man get any better
After watching this episode my perspective of Negan has completely changed. For years I’ve seen him as an evil man who was eventually beat into submission and now realizes the errors of his ways. Now, after Here’s Negan, I see him as a man so in love with his wife that when he lost her he was driven to madness and took all of his anger and guilt out on whoever he wanted
Amazing episode!! Hope they make seasons or a movie of early Negan and how he met Dwight and Simon and built the sanctuary and created a big savior army
The best written character from the moment he appeared on screen. Such a consistent quality. I know it's not a fair comparison to Daryl and Carol because it's easier to make the characters less interesting when they're around for longer, but still Negan is the best.
I remember when i found your channel 2 years ago and you had around some 1000 subcribers and your edits were wholesome and here we are now, what can I say? You saved the characters from fading within the memory of all the viewers kekker. You are the answer. And i hope you do one more negan edit with the parallels of his same dialogues before and after apocalypse, there are so many
Instrumental music for tributes is so much better than using songs. It actually depicts each character perfectly. What you did with Negan is a work of art. His tragedy and what he becomes of it is shown clearly. Thank you for this Kekker
I've always loved your work bro, Negan is my fan favorite ever since they casted Jeffery Dean Morgan to play him, he's made Negan be so real since his introduction, the way the episode ended makes me feel like JDM's time as Negan is nearing an end, maybe dies next season, or he'll be there through it all... Either way, I'm emotional after that episode and this tribute is a masterpiece.
I'm with you bro, Negan is my absolute favourite character since he was introduced. This episode was special for me and didn't dissapoint, especially the ending was so good.
My favorite ending for a season finale, the whole episode was a great season finale, but it shows he dont care if he dies now, he don't care if he's not acceoted, he's going to do what Lucille would've wanted and it's to try to stay there, Lydia still cares for him
@@James-mc8xn Yeah, I also loved his smile at the end, I thought that he felt more confident and doesn't care what happens to him. I almost thought that part of Saviour Negan came back to him and made him be like that. Just look how he walks to Alexandria, I already knew something changed with him.
I'm not gonna watch it till monday, because in germany the episode is released monday. But I can tell, that its gonna be great. I'm gonna watch it monday and then I can confirm, that it is great.
I am very optimistic about that Episode because Negan is one of my favourite characters and I am very hyped to see his past. I don't know about you, but I liked the other episodes from Season 10C too because I like what they were, filler.
@@Leeeoon If you liked other episodes too then you will definitely love this episode. I love it, there is also some cool easter eggs and some fanservice. I loved it :)
I love this episode and this. Heres negan tribute is awesome. I rate this episodes 9.9/10. I cry when lucille die and you are so beautiful song made me cry too when that was playing . Kekker you are such amazing editer. I love your tribute videos and keep it up👍
I've been watching your videos for about four years now. They always help with my Walking Dead withdrawals. Another great edit, Kekker. Right in the feels. I hope y'all got your crying pants on!
I was trying hardly to find the character I love in Walking Dead, of course there are severals I come to like them but when they introduce Negan, he became the reason I’m watching the show!
Brilliant tribute this is so good and I have seen alot of tributes! Weird in season 6 to 7 I didn't like Negan and he was first time we met him he was terrifying but now hes my favourite character and I honestly love him hope he survives the whole show!
I love negan so much. He’s my favourite walking dead character he’s so badass but now we get the emotional side as well and loosing two family members to cancer I was crying my eyes out last episode. Such a well acted role and if anything else goes to shit in the walking dead I will probably keep watching just for negan
This is Legendary JDM always pulls on the haert string's ahhh Onion ninja's got my eyes 😭 And That is my strength 👊 Negan has risen to be My favorite besides Rick, Masterpiece Man🎇🎉👍
Goddamn this is cool. Kekker, you are amazing. You've intrigued me to make my own edits and I'm currently working on a Negan one that will be finished soon lol
