So thankful for this video, I found it nearly impossible taking off all three bolts from the bottom only, we ended up removing my intakes and add a long extension to tighten it the first time. My nut fell off and now the third bolt is loose, causing the gasket to be exposed which means leak, I got it done using these same tools in under 5 minutes. Thank you compa 🤙🤙

I have a straight piped g35 sedan. I bought an isr bolt on catback exhaust and plan on buying test pipes. Since my car is straight piped (current exhaust system is welded together) and the exhuast system is bolt on will I be able to weld it on ?

You can just use a o2 sensor bung extender and you won't get a code

Some of the bolts are very tight, and you don't have enough leverage on the bottom to remove them all.

Did the test pipes sit closer to the ground than the stock cats? I got some test pipes but I’m worried they might scrape and get ruined since my car is pretty low

I recommend replacing the studs and bolts with nickel plated or similar so they "don't" seize up. Also Non of mine broke, I used an old mech method for a break free solution. Mix trans fluid and acetone. Look up the ratio. Left it on overnight. Also it's easy to use 3 positions to remove these bolts. Pass wheel well, under, and through the top on the driverside.

You can't it's not meant to be used with aftermarket test pipes unless the pipe has a lip like the original cats

@@habshockeycards6719 hey man honestly they just broke off from the pressure. So I was able to get the pipes off. So just keep working at it from the engine bay. Applying heat to the bolt and it should break loose. Or just break off😅

if it's a 3.7VHR any HR or VHR test pipe will work. AWD are the ones that are hard to find

It worked on mine depends what test pipe you are using. Good quality test pipes have a small hole on the o2 sensor bung that only lets in certain amount of exhaust fumes into the o2 sensor I find that berk is really good and keeps the check engine light away. Ive passed emissions multiple times btw
