Detomaso have released the track only version of the P72 hypercar, named the P900. The Detomaso P900 makes 900 horsepower and weighs just 900 kilograms, meaning that this car has a one to one power to weight ratio. Many have compared its looks to that of the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro which it does have some similarities to. Watch the video to find out more.
Enjoy!

in terms of market position, De Tomaso is now like Pagani in 2000. they are now looking for their niche, as Pagani did in their time. I like each of their creations, I believe in them

I think I’d be inclined to agree, especially if they incorporate more of the V12s into road cars!

I know no one asked, but in my opinion I don't care how this car stacks up against its competition performance wise, this is a great creation with a little homage to Italian car heritage

V12,I don't want anything from a Mustang or a ford gt v6 my ass.

The V12 is derived from the V12 of the Ferrari F12 TDF, from the F140 family

Indeed, can’t believe they’re going to make it rev up to 12,300rpm!

P72 looks gorgeous, but should have a NA v12 instead of a Ford v8

There will never be enough synthetic fuel to power all the combustion engines. Maybe hydrogen combustion engines in the future

Wow, the P72 really does look like a 1968 Alpha Romeo 33 Stradale. Too retro gaudy for me … I prefer the Pantera GT5 all day.

"Ahh they were mocked for having a V8, not a V12" I'm sure a 4, 6, 8 or 12 cylinders will make no difference since these cars usually spend most of their lives in a garage and usually never see a track.

I love de tomasos, and i love how this is agressive, without sharp shapes, so god damn clean and pure desing.

Those who are hating on that car are probably jealous. That is one of the best retro designed vehicles in history. And the new version is even more awesome. I just don't like the fact that it doesn't have winding windows, and a V8 instead of a V10 or V12.

Any shade thrown at this car is sour grapes, it’s one of the most beautiful cars ever made and certainly the most beautiful modern car in my opinion

It just looks like it eats the road. Great style. Oh yeah. My name is Di Tomasso. (Spelled a little different) but I think that it would look alright on the back of this car.

Lamborghini copied Ferrari in the beginning. All car makers copy something at some point. Lamborghini and many others copied the excessive use of carbon from Pagani. Paganis favorite car is the Porsche 917 and his Huayra R has coped design elements in honor of this car. Enzo Ferraris favorite car was the Jaguar XKE and u find many design elements in his cars. Ferrari copied making fast luxury SUV's from Porsches Cayenne. And beside design, a ton of technology/ aero/ tire / brake / hybrid and engine research gets copied from everyone. Every car maker did and does this at some point and its a good thing. if we argument like u, we could say that they all just copied the first petrol engine design from Carl Benz.

It's based on the older De tomaso race cars and supercars, not the p4/5💀💀💀💀💀💀 Edit: It's making you sound like you work for the Glickenhaus

Stunning looking machine, but a tad glitzy inside. I'd rather replace a lot of that shiney metalwork with heat-tinted titanium.
