The station master thanks you and all the rest of the staff for posting this kind words. It will be appreciated and shown in your next paycheck. Keep up the good work!
I hope that everyone values their pets as much as they value themselves. Guys, all lives matter. Furthermore, if you love animals or are just a kind person, please take in any stray animals you come across during a storm. Assist someone who is unable to save themselves!
"Colin we've been talking about the heat for I feel like the last month or so..." I wonder if she feels like maybe summertime has something to do with that.
Hope everyone thinks of their pets like they do themselves. All lives matter guys. And if you are a animal lover or just a nice petson- if you see a stray take em in during the storm. Help save a soul that cant save themselves!
KThe complexities of the storm are not being communicated to the public, and the unpredictability that meteorologists are witnessing should be eliciting note concern and evacuations. By downplaying the risks and estimating that it will make landfall as a Category 1, the public is misinformed. Anyone with meteorological experience or knowledge can clearly see that it will make landfall as at least a Category 2, with strengthening occurring just before landfall, making it too late for people to evacuate. I understand the desire to avoid causing panic and the caution exercised after mass evacuations during Hurricane Rita claimed lives and caused mass hysteria. However, we know that storms are becoming less predictable and stronger, and this is not the time to save face. Downplaying the storm's intensity means fewer people will evacuate, leading to more suffering. It is crucial for local news stations to provide accurate information to ensure public safety.
Although State capital "Austin" is in the path, the name is not even mentioned in this entire weather clip, or marked on the screen even, what is going on with "CBS TEXAS", do these people think Austin is not part of Texas ?
@@functionatthejunction And don't forget the hysteria and hysterical click-bait/fake news shouts of "It's the FEEL LIKE temperature! OMG, we're all going to die!!!! Tune in for late night wrap up on this station for latest updates on the HEAT WAVE DEATHS! OMG!!!
Welp, guess it's another test for that privatized power system there. Good luck. I'm sure Texans (famously cool headed and respectful of authority) will evacuate if told to do so. Yup.
Hope everyone thinks of their pets like they do themselves. All lives matter guys. And if you are a animal lover or just a nice petson- if you see a stray take em in during the storm. Help save a soul that cant save themselves!
