The difference between her and some of the others playing today is the hands on approach to parenting her parents took. That’s how her loving parents raised her and that’s why she’s confident plus she has a natural talent that they nurtured. A positive growing up experience helps children handle conflict plus praise and success. She’s a breath of fresh air.

That's where the media hate comes from . I was asked recently by a concerned American, why do most democrats seem to hate people who want to strengthen our nation? To which I answered. My relatives that live in Iowa are working their 2,000 acre Farm. When some one says Iowa I think FARMING and COLD WEATHER. I would die if I lived there! Currently living in southern California the worst temp in winter is 40 degree above zero. My relatives say minus 20 with wind chill factor in winter!! My Dad was stationed at the North Pole and temps would get down to minus 50. Sometimes they would have 50 to 100 mile an hour winds, so it seemed felt colder!

I’m so glad women sports has advanced. I played basketball up to the seventh grade with a girl who was really good. She beat most the boys and could score a few on me despite the fact I was pretty good. But she got discouraged and quit because she moved to a neighboring town that didn’t have a girls high school team and my school or any other would not let her play. By today’s standards she would have at least played in college.

I don’t care about nor do I need to know all about someone’s personal or family history. It’s none of my business!!! Caitlin Clark is simply worth the price of admission! She’s what the WNBA has been needing for years! She’s the female version of Pistol Pete Maravich in every way. She’s brought a ton of positive attention to the sport. And, to her credit, she’s like that old,old timex watch slogan. “ takes a lickn’ but keeps on tickn’”.

WHAT! You mean she didn't grow up in Chicago in a fatherless home with guns and drugs on every corner. If you need proof that parenting in a skill and an unwavering commitment to the children and that many are unwilling and incapable of of doing so, well, here's a family that gets it. Her parents are congratulated. While obviously a special talent, when thinking of Ms. Clark, I'm especially impressed with her focus and how grounded she is, despite all the noise.

Fatherless black kids is a recent phenomenon..last 30 years it’s got really bad. I’m black…grew up in a small factory town and all my friends except one came from two parent homes. I knew of five kids in the entire town that didn’t have a dad in the house and three of them were white. I don’t know exactly when all this went sideways but it makes a huge difference. Five of us..four attended college..my sister is a Dr. of our kids..one RN..another Dr., four are in college..one in an Ivy league school, three still in HS. Family structure can make or break a child. In CCs case it made her. Awesome. 👏🏾
